    Good day to you all!

Just want to know what are the advantages of having an adventure? I'll be getting my Adventure glx this friday and just want to know from long time adventure owners about their experiences in having an adventure.

    1. What kind of oil you're using in your adventure?
    2. When how many km before changing your oil?
    3. How about the aircon? Is it colder than the L300 aircon?
    4. How about the suspension? Becuase one of my sidelines is buying school and office supplies in Divisoria.

Thanks for your informative reply. Just want to know if I got a good deal in purchasing an adventure.

    Thanx and more power!!!

    Welcome to MAC sir...

What is your ride fuel? Diesel or GAs?

here's my answer, bTW my ride is a diesel fed engine..

    1. fully synthetic xp turbo by mitsu
    2. per 10000 km change oil, per 5000km change oil filter and add 1 liter of xp turbo
    3. 100% much stronger than l300 aircon( every year or 20000km maintenance cleaning)
    4. A bit more stiff than an average AUV, design as a people mover>

    Hope it helps.

sir arvic, thanks for your info. Well i'll be getting my adventure glx diesel this friday at san pablo. I live in Sariaya, Quezon. Well naluwas ako usually just to buy supplies.
Anyway, where do you get your oil changed? is it advaisable to change the oil and oil filter every 10,000 km? Or talagang 5k km yung filter at 10k yung oil? Medyo mahal yung oil na turbo xp. any plans of changing brands?

Diesel Fed engine! under warranty pa kc yung ride ko.. kya lahat sa casa... siguro after warranty sa shell station nlng pero i'll still use xp turbo for oil..

kung fully synthetic ang oil ang gagamitin
for every 10000km kailangan change oil plus change oil filter
for every 5000km kailangan change oil filter plus addtl 1 liter of oil..

kung miniral based oil ang gagamitin
for every 5000km kailangan change oil plus change oil filter

eto po yung recommended ng diamond que ave

Mine is a GLX '98 model

    change oil/filter every 10,000 kms
i use castrol oils (1 gallon + 1 liter). plus oil additive (500 ml). (forgot the name) parang x1-r na gawang pinoy.. much better than x1-r sabi nung dealer.

Ako baby oil lang ayos na hehehe, juk lang.
I have 2003 SS LE, 32k palang sya ngayon.
I used Mitsu fully synthetic din, same as Arvic, every 10t km ang palit sa aking suking Mitsu service center. Medyo kailangan mo mag invest pag dating sa maintenance specially when you using your ride from Sariaya to Divi. Mas masarap gamitin ang ride lalu na kung worry free.

    1 cent lang poh!

2004 GLS Sport owner here, diesel-powered with manual tranny.

    1. Used to have Turbo XP, pero medyo namahalan ako. I've been using Shell Helix Diesel (mineral).

    2. 5,000km palit oil and filter.

    3. I wouldn't know the difference, basta malamig sa Adventure by experience.

    4. From experience din, the early-model Adventures were designed for hauling cargo, kaya mas stiff ang suspension, matagtag. The latter models had their suspension systems modified for carrying passengers, kaya mas comfortable. To illustrate: three years ago, we took my in-laws' Adventure 99 GLX on a Lenten trip to Bicol. Two years later, we took my Adventure 2004 GLS Sport on the same grueling trip. The difference in ride comfort was very noticeable; talagang hindi nagsisinungaling ang pwet ng tao.
