On a GEN II Pajero, the proportion of torque is determined by the center differential. It is 50/50 by default, unless external factors act on it (e.g. when rounding a corner, slick surfaces, etc.).

On a GEN I, there is no center differential and torque is distributed evenly between the two axles.

The front wheels icons flash if there is a problem with a solenoid. However, there are also other factors that may cause them to flash.

I think they are serviceable parts. You just have to pay Joseph Atotubo a visit. In my case, I just banged the hell out of them and they worked fine again.

The solenoids are on top of the tranny. Sakit talaga yang blinkies lalo na kapag galing Japan since the Japs dont really use 4WD. Also check the hoses located at the rear of the Air filter. baka nagkabaliktad lang.
