my tito had a lot of gen II pajeros, both ex-RHD and Phil. Spec... with both 2.5L and 2.8L diesel engines.
yung 3.8L V6 na LWB gen3 pajero A/T siguro nasa mga 9+ to 10 seconds yung 0-100 km/h nun with an optimum launch... yung 4m41 diesel na A/T siguro nasa mga 13 seconds...
20 seconds yata ang 0-100 kph ng stock GEN II with a 4d56 TDiC. Parang mas mabagal pa siya dun.

car & driver tested the 3.5L V6 Montero at 11.8 seconds to 60 mph pala... the 3.8L probably won't do any better
the 4m41 would probably take 13+ to 15 seconds to the same speed
according to the mitsubishi site....
11.5s SWB 4M41 Manuel
12.0s SWB 4M41 Invecs
i think this was done using the japanese versions... 235hp 3.5li GDI, 175hp 3.2li diesel. the US/international versions are significantly weaker, likely detuned due to expected poor fuel quality.
Yung pajero gen III here was made in Japan, not the USA. So is it the same sa Jap Spec? Invecs din ung available here for both the diesel and V6 version, and LWB. So its possible mas mabagal ito sa SWB since mas madaming bakal pa ang LWB.
