ssaloon,
actually, im planning to get a 95 vr4 galant, kya lang ay may vr6 na versions akong, nakikikta. Now, i know. BTW, since you are a galant owner, would you recommend such car? Good buy na ba 95 vr4 at 250K?

If i'm not mistaken, at 250K (or a little more) you can already get a Galant VR 6 cylinder model... This is better then the 4 cylinder Supersaloon model (smoother, faster, you'll have standard 4-wheel disk brakes, leather three spoke steering, etc).
BTW, i think its a bit misleading when the 4 cylinder model is referred to as a VR4 as this usually connotes the 4 wheel drive model if i'm not mistaken. :?:

tama si vinj
common misconception yan... in the same way, wala pong VR6 na galant... sa mga VW lang yun eh... the politically correct term would be vr v6 and super saloon. vr4 is the 4 wheel drive rally version i think.
scout around muna, you might get a steal for a VR at that same price.
vr versions have 3 spoked leather wrapped steering wheel, auto climate control, front chin spoiler and side skirts as well as a V6 twin cam engine. the latter VR models have OEM leather upholstery.

I think the VR fuel economy shouldnt hit 4km/L since the body is light... In fact i thkn it should not be that far off from the Supersaloon model despite the additional 2 cylinders (IMO). The Cefiro which should be a bit heavier then the Galant does around 6km/l in city driving if i'm not mistaken.
