inquire ako sa service advisor about 1k pms, sabi nya:
"naku sir eh naka montero ho kayo dapat ho talaga eh fully synthetic kayo at inonote ho natin na gusto nyo mag mineral oil lang dahil pag may nasira ho dyan sa montero eh hindi namin sagutin na gusto nyong mag mineral oil"
di na lang ako nakipag argue, na parang nag agree na lang ako, dahil sa sagot pa lang nya eh, ayaw ko na dalin yung montero dun. plus nag pa estimate na lang ako kuno kung magkano pag fully syn and mineral. estimate nya would be 6200 and 3100 respectively. plus pag may dala ka own oil, labor babayaran na daw.
Since may recommended dealer at service advisor dito, i tried calling Diamond Greenhills, Service Advisor Bong
thanks sir torque for posting his name. Bong is actually accommodating sa phone inquiry pa lang. inquired about bringing your own oil, pwede naman daw. sabi ko, pwede ba mineral oil ang gamitin? he said yes no problem. in short he answered well to my questions. di katulad dun sa isa eh parang lagot ka pag mineral oil ang ginamit mo a sobrang tamad pa magsalita. well iba iba nga naman.
8 years din ako sa automotive industry and now lang ako nakarinig na pag mineral oil ang ginamit mo eh, di namin sagutin kung may masisira dyan sa montero mo. alam ko naman kasi na nirerecommend talaga ang fully syn dahil kasama sa qouta nila yun at they get something out of it.
so i scheduled the montero sa diamond greenhills with bong as the service advisor. i just hope the upcoming experience would just do well.

June 24th, 2012 09:41 PM #701000kms pms done in diamond greenhills. it all went well naman except for, it just didn't take 2 hours to wait but its alright. brought it there around 745am and finish around 11am. my dad chooses to get Mitsubishi Turbo XP Fully Synthetic: SAE 15W-40, API SL/CF. it doesnt say c1-4 rating but it should be ok. but the dealer suggested to have a change oil by 10,000kms and just change the oil filter by 5000km pms.
we still asked for the remaining oil since we paid for 7 liters... if you dont ask, they wont give it to you.
No, but it was what sounded closest to Bill, bill. Ha ha ha!
