Because the TBN, Sulfated ash and zinc content of a mineral oil mobil delvac mx is still better if we are talking about the oils from valvoline with picture below. Plus valvoline are in my experience expensive vs. mobil oils if you buy from auto shops.

But if you can find this one, then this is as good as Mobil Delvac MX.
    http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/premium_blue_classic.pdf

But that is for fleet service so you can only buy big jugs or pail.

This is the oil that I am using now for my Strada. As mentioned above by Ry_Tower, the Valvoline Blue is only sold in pails. One pail is equivalent to 18 liters. Bought this for 3,300 at a shop here in Baguio.

Wow thats cheap 3300 only for 18 liters?

I know captex delo gold 400 is API CI-4 + rated. Though its a mineral oil have anyone of you guys tried this oil? Shell and petron wala akong nakita na API CI-4 ratex sa oils nila kahit fully synthetic.

    Hope someone can help. Thanks

*G01: ang mura nga ng bili mo. Good for you at halos 3 change oils na yan. hehe

I'm using Delo 400 now, so far wala naman problem at 1,400+kms of use Planning on using it till 8,000kms though. Ganda so far ng performance.

Wala nga Shell n CI-4, CH-4 lang pinakamataas nila. But petron CI-4 rated naman yung trekker at synthetic nilang oil na All terrain is CJ-4 although problem nga with Petron is it is not API certified, claims lang nila tapos wala ka pa makitang product data sheet nila. Yun yung important kasi dun mo malalaman if tried and tested by industry (API, JASO, Cummins) standards yung oil.

Two change oils lang, actually hehe...4M41 kasi and it needs 9 liters. How much is Delo 400 sa inyong area? Saw some stocks at one of the Caltex stations here in Baguio and price is 300/liter.

We share the same opinion the 1st time I dared to use the Petron Rev-X Trekker with my retired Mitsubishi Strada 2001. No API certification. Probably just over rated claims at the back of the container. But after 8 years and 210,000+ kms of use with no overhaul I came to trust the product. Oil I remembered then was API CH-4 spec then gradually upgraded by the company to its current API CI-4/ACEA E7 rating. With regards to the Petron Rev-X All Terrain there was once an expert Tsikot poster here who made a Used-Oil Analysis on his Trooper using this oil after more than 5,000 kms of regular use. Results I recalled were good. Rev-X All Terrain used then was the old API CF-4 rating. The current API CJ-4 should perform better. Product data sheet available upon request from Petron. I was able to acquire a product sheet prior to using it years ago.

In oil related engine trouble, there is no case that the cause is by using wrong kind of oil, all are by not changing their oil or running out of oil. For me, im only using motor oil produce by the company that manufacture oil.

May contribution ba ang oil selection, whether its Mineral or Synthetic , sa ingay ng makina ? If i used Mineral oil at 30k km, then will change to Synthetic oil pag umabot ng 35k km, ok lang ba yun ? Thanks....

Afaik meron difference, mas smooth talaga kapag fully synthetic or even semi-syn. Pero the difference is not a big thing IMO.
