^tapos rated CF lang. Mabuti pa yung murang dino oil, CH-4/CI-4 rated pa.

Laki tubo ni Mitsu sa Turbo XP. Semi-syn marketed as fully-syn.

super laki talaga ng tubo, lalo diyan sa change oil na yan, palit filter every 5k kahit pa synthetic gamit mo, tapos as much as possible sa kanila lahat langis and filter. kaya ako 1st 1k and 5k lang dun, lahat eh ako na gumagawa

Some Mitsubishi dealers allow you to bring your own oil, oil filter, fuel filters, parts, etc. Even Toyota allows it as long as they are genuine Toyota.

^^^ Mitsubishi dealers will tell you Turbo XP is semi-synthetic when you ask otherwise they just tell you it's synthetic. From what I know, the label on Turbo XP says synthetic, not fully synthetic.

looking at the container now, it says New Turbo XP - New Rating SM/CF Fully Synthetic Engine Oil 15w-50.... i really dont know if its a good oil or not but im sure there are a lot more better out there of the same level and price plus that c1-4 rating that i should be getting. by 5000km reading...we may have to get a better one, may it be a mineral oil.

some of us may say "my dad just wont listens" - ayun siya naman ang gumastos eh.

*randybm - sir actually you can watch from afar - theres a big window there in the service reception that you can see your car is being serviced. i think you can also come near the car if you really are a meticulous type of client but...from the window, my dad noticed that the other oil container didnt seem to used....i just told my dad its 7 container then they will use 6.4, we'll just ask the excess oil to be given back to us...

they did forget the oil to give it to us so we asked for it and they gave it to us then.

*hachooro bakit kaya nalimutan nila? yung sakin naman binalik nila agad sakin yung sobra without asking them siguro kasi andun ako nanonood sa tabe nila. Hehe

I agree with your opinion but as written in the owner's manual it requires a minimum API CD oil.

Yeah it's in the manual but it is the minimum. Plus if you look at mitsu's manual, parang hindi na ina-update yung part na yan eh. hehe

I've used Petron Rev-X All Terrain 5W-40 since my 1,000km PMS, with oil changes in 10,000km intervals (mere 1L top-ups every 5,000kms). I'm very satisfied with its performance, fuel economy and value for money. Plus the fact it's almost P200 cheaper per liter versus casa oil.
