Fully Synthetic Oil for Montero Sport? What brand? for 1000KM check up.

Hi mga sirs, will be bringing my monty gls v for 1000km PMS this thursday sa DCT holdings and I'm thinking of bringing my oil and filter. I am considering caltex delo silver/gold or zic sd5000, alin po kaya ang masok? Tapos yung sa filter naman po, should I just go with the oem filter or if there is a kind hearted fellow willing to sell a baldwin...that will be great! =)

Done w/ my 1k pms at Greenhills DM, I used mineral oil since every 5k ako mag papachange oil ;)
Highly recommended sila, Look for Jojo very accommodating.

yes po kita po, and heard one client na nag request pumasok sa Service Area and pinapasok nmn po, since first pms ko po hinyaan ko muna sakanila lahat, pero read na pde daw po magdala not sure lang po kung free parin labor, will see.. sa next 5k pms ko po will bring baldwin and mineral oil. you can call them narin po to confirm ;)

Sir kung ako sayo kung yan ang advise ng SA mo much better sa iba ka nalng Casa mag pa PMS
kasi sa Casa ko sa Citimotors you are free to see kung ano ang mga ginagawa nila.kasi sila alam ko
mga Style like yun katabi kong isang Car check up 20k PMS biruin mo umalis yung family at babalikan
nagpunta ng mall, tinitignan ko lang kung ano ginagawa sa kanya yung Apat na tires for break cleaning
yun isang gulong lang tinanggal halos pinakita nalng un actual na pagtanggal nun dumating na may ari! Grabe.
tapos sabihin nila okey na daw na check na lahat.hehehe sabi ko sa isip ko yari ka kasi hindi mo binantayan eh.

Hi guys, lampas na ako sa 10k ko, nasa 12k na ako pero hindi pa ako nakapag-change oil for 10k, my bad hindi na po uulitin.

Now, I'm planning to bring my Montero sa Rapide. Vortex plus daw ang oil nila tapos 4,830 lahat ng babayaran for 10k PMS. Ok ba dito? Do you have any experience sa Rapide guys? Dati ako sa DM Greenhills and yes ok nga dun pero costly na ung 10k PMS nila, pinaevaluate ko almost 10,000 pesos na babayaran ko plus I transferred in Laguna so I have to check for other options. Hope you can give your opinion on this. Thanks!

i think there is a separate thread here about horror stories wiht rapide. thing is, if your car is under warranty, mas may peace of mind kung casa ka papagawa until such time na out of warranty ka na, then pili ka naman ng reputable na shop.

my montero 2011glsv is about to hit 45k kms and i have my regular service at amcar sa tagaytay balibago road, right side going technopark kung galing ka from coke plant/sta rosa exit going to paseo. may bridgestone service center din sa may tapat ng paseo which you can also try later on.

if you have a particular shop in mind, try checking them out from the internet and see customer feedback...

sometimes squeezing your pms budget will only lead you to spend more in the future lalo na kung hindi maayos ang shop na mapupuntahan mo...
