    but im not sold sa bolts maghahanap pa ako ng stainless na bolts he..he

    kaso di ko pa na testing kasi nasa store pa ako eh

    Hmm di ko lang alam siguro from 3 washers di mo fefeel ang difference sa 4, dati kasi i tried 1 washer lang tapos 2 tapos 3, yung 1 washer wala masyadong improvement sa 2 washers meron na, sa 3 washers I can really feel the difference max natin siguro sa engines natin is 5 washers, that would be around +2.5 - 3.0 psi so if the stock is 10 nasa 13 na yan medyo mataas na baka di na kaya ng engines natin, kasi when you floor the accelerator it will spike to around 14 psi for a sec or so bago babalik sa 13psi.

    Paki post ng feed back, walang intercooler ang strada mo right? tell us if you can see any difference like pajerokid, at 3,000 rpm mas mabilis sya ngayon. :D

    Very simple mod di ko lang alam ang wear and tear sa actuator can natin, but i think di masyado malaki ang difference, dinagdagan lang naman natin ang tension sa spring inside the can, para mas late mag open ang wastegate, and it helps sa lower rpm range, kasi when the turbo starts to spin medyo nag bubukas na din ang wastegate, now that the tension is higher the wastegate will start to open at a higher rpm range. Although its just my theory, but i think thats how it works. We could see with the improvement in power :D.

    kailangan talaga ng boost gauge para alam mo kung anong boost yung kaya without going into some kind of limp mode.(safe mode).

    yung lumang audi ko eh nagpalit ako ng stiffer wastegate spring, or pwede rin eh lagyan ng washers para mas stiffer sya. yung iba eh mbc(manual boost gauge), you can make your own boost gauge just search the web.

    Yeah boost guage nga ang kailangan, I installed one before i tried putting washers on the actuator, just to know how much boost im getting.

    i think a boost controller, even the manual one is still a better idea to boost up. adding tension to the wastegate actuator rod does help, and in many ways it reduces boost leak by making sure the wastegate is tightly shut but if your turbo is controlled electronically, it doesn't raise boost realistically because the ECU will let the boost out anyways.

    Otep::: Whaddya think of this:: Lagyan ko kaya ng boost gauge dun sa ilalim ng dash.... in the space opposite the choke? Gusto ko kasi discreet e. Baduy ba? :?:


    Incidentally, i noticed that my intercooler fan wasnt working. After a couple of tests, i found that the fan was working but the temp sending unit on the intercooler wasnt! :evil: Upon inquiring with mitsu, i found that the sender costs Php 1600!!!! Sheesh! So what i did was i shorted the leads and voila! My Intercooler fan is now "Always on"!

    wala lang hehehe

    Ang balak ko sana ay triple cluster doon sa ibaba ng head unit. Either dun sa small (higher) compartment or dun sa larger compartment below it. Tatlong gauge na tabi-tabi. Oil pressure, Voltmeter and Boost gauge. Tapos framed sila ng plywood or MDF na covered in speaker carpet.

    Wala lang. Hehehe. Pero ok din ang proposed location mo kaso hindi ba bubutasin ang dash mo nun?

    Grabe ang mahal naman ng sender! Ako I made a switch to the fan para di lagi naka on, pag medyo mainit na yung engine saka ko on.

    Otep would you recomend this upgrade kahit na naoverhaul na yung engine? nabasa ko kasi sa ibang forum na pag nabuksan na yung makina iba na talaga.

    Otep::: I might have quoted the wrong location. Ang balak ko lang butasan ay yung plastic na nasa ilalim ng steering column :D But i like your idea on the 2nd triple meter cluster. I remember merong ganyan na optional parts for the singkit lancer dati.

    Yellow::: WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT!!!!!! Kaya lang tinatamad ako magproject ngayon medyo busy. A very excellent idea!

    Ser, welcome to the forums. An overhauled engine should perform like new. Sa Pilipinas lang naman iyang mga nagsasabing 'naiba na' due to the generally lousy quality of overhauls we have.
