Yes sir. Where's a good place to have PMS that's not casa?
i have been having my oil change for my 2003 altis at the friendly gas station for several years now. the petron here has hecho derecho oil + filter change for less than 2500 thousand bucks. walang pila.
every 5000 km. mineral oil. just be sure your oil specification requirements are met.
for sparking plugs, brakes and others, sa banawe QC.
for body repair, to my suki in cubao.
for tires, sa yokohama atbp tire outlet. canvas by phone for better prices.
for timing belt and other sensitive piyezas, balik-toyota ako.
puede rin naman sa casa. you just have to to learn to say no to some items that are not in the owner's manual schedule.

Naksingit na pala yung 1) Fushing and 2) injector cleaning.
Ayun, 3k++ na lang.
So lesson is be alert and mabusisi and knowledgeable about what is needed to be done to your vehicle, kasi tuso ng mga SA's di na nila sasabihin at papakita na may inserted services sila.
Kung makakalusot nga naman, di ba?
Back in the 90's unheard yan ganyang practice of inserting unnecessary services.
Ngayon talamak na at pakapalan ng mukha.
Parang mg tongressmen, inserting pork barrel in the budget, kahit bawal.![]()

And are they also being rated based on how much they sell of these add ons.
Pinapakita naman breakdown before gawin ah.

i consult my owner's manual, and list down what should be included in the xxx km pms.
if an item in their proposed pms job list is not in that list, i decline with "next time na lang. wala sa budget, e".
we should always look at that job list. insertions are not unique to congress.
heh heh.
common words that should grab our attention include: treatment, flushing, conditioner.
I guess, the company was paying for the maintenance, kaya walang pakialam si customer, or he is rich and doesn't care.
pues, hingin nyo!
in the casa pms i go to, they always show us the printed proposed job list, for written approval. but they do not elaborate if costumer does not ask.
but i think the issue is, many of these folks do not know that many of those in the job list are optionals only and can be canceled. thus, they do not bother with perusing the list anymore, because "casa knows best".
enlightenment comes afterward. the so-called "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me", when car owner chances to read the owner's manual in depth, or he accidentally tunes into tsikot.com...

What's a good brand of spark plug and FS oil. Where can I buy? Also, where can I buy baldwin oil filter?
my one peso's worth,
i don't FS.
mineral only.
replace every 5000 km, without fail.
after over 14 years and 130,000 km, the engine still runs fine.
