Which is Better? 2003-04 Lancer MX, GLS or GLX?

Good day, I am scouting around for a good second-hand Mitsubishi Lancer and would just like to ask kung ano ba ang differences between the 2003-2004 Lancer MX, GLS and GLX in terms of features, engine specs, interior details, etc.. Which model would you recommend? mostly city driving lang naman and occassional out of town trips.

Also, is it true that lancers with CVT transmissions have difficulties carrying a full-load of passengers on up-hill and steep roads? Pataas kase yung kalye papasok sa garahe namin at medyo steep ung daan. Though relatively speaking, sa tingin ko lahat naman ng AT cars ay ganyan talaga compared to MT cars pagdating sa akyatan.
