yup. most SA ganyan ang style. happen to me way back 2002 when i got my fieldmaster, pareho kay sir kiwimig, nagpa-PO agad ako, excited eh, ayun naipit, natagalan. kaya dito sa gtv ko, pag sinabi ng sakin ng SA na i-PO na at may dadating na unit, i just tell them nangyari na yan before, pag inulit mo yan malilintikan ka sakin, ayun, palit ng phrase, pachecheck daw muna, tapos hindi na tatawag. make sure the unit is there before any transaction, lalo na PO

you did say the guy admitted that the variant was about to be discontinued.. to my mind, this means all the units still to be delivered, have already been spoken for..
perhaps the next variant will prove to be a better buy..
i sincerely hope you get the model you want, but with your story here, i don't think you will.

I really don't know whether the model is being phased-out. Wasn't GLX non-VGT only launched last April 2012?

Sir, ive waited for almost 3 months before i received my non vgt monty mt from citimotors makati. Same sentiments nung una, sabi ko bakit naman ang tagal wherein meron na namng PO and meaning sure buyer na...then just realized na maaring sobrang madalang talaga ang release ng non vgt and priority nila ay vgt...in fact meron dito sa group na as fast as 2-day deal for vgt variants...anyway, after getting and driving my nonvgt, so far am satisfied with the performance and worth yung waiting effort ko.

I get what you're saying about the supply problem. But to tell me that binaha yung planta, ini-invoice pa, naabutan ng PDI...these are all lies! If they told me that I will have to line up and it might take a couple of months, then ibang usapan yon.

I got mine from DiamondMotors Valle Verde, courtesy of Krisnie from EvoLander.
We Talked to Krisnie July 31 but she already sold their stock st Evolander.
What she did is hook us up with diamond motors valle verde, which has a white MS GLX AT.

So I got the BPI papers prepped Morning of August 1and we paid the DP In the afternoon. May mga pautot yung diamond motors, trying to get additional cash.
BPI financing is still more than 100K cheaper so we stick to BPI.

The unit was delivered August 2. Pinagbigyan ko na lang yung SA sa raket nya worth additional 2K. So far, wife is happy with her new MS GLX AT...

I spoke to several other dealers and a lot of them had white GLX non-VGT units. In fact, Citimotors Makati was convincing us to buy their white na. Unfortunately, white is not an option for us. Any other color will be acceptable.

Mabilis talaga ang GLS-V (VGT). Everyone is trying to push that variant. Hindi lang kasi sulit sa amin yung additional features compared to the GLX (non-VGT). Worse case scenario, we may have to fork out an extra 150k para makakuha na ng unit. Haaay!

Reminder lang guys, Hindi naman kayo matatali sa isang dealer kapag nakapag-P.O na. Yung ibang bangko, napayag pa nga na mag P.O kahit sa iba't ibang dealers. Pwede nyo pa naman ipa cancel yan at ilipat sa iba , ginagamit lang namin yan para ma ipila kayo sa gusto nyo na unit lalo na kapag walang Stock on hand ang isang dealership.

sa may mga gusto ng Non-VGT Montero, ang kailangan po talaga ay P.O for Bank Financing (For reservation purposes only) or Cash Deposit for Cash Buyer. Mahirap kasi ang unit ngayon.

MS A/T Non-VGT, I'm already having second thoughts about pushing through with the purchase, I've been a very satisfied Toyota (Makati) client and reading the posts here about the the pre-sales and after sales experiences makes me think twice...

Ask mo si Krisnie (09173860661) of evolander ... She was kind enough to help me source out a GLX AT NON VGT.

I called her July 31, I got hooked up to Diamond Motors Valle Verde that same day, confirmed the stock and issued BPI PO August 1, unit delivered August 2

AFAIK, yung Owner ng Evolander, sila rin ang majoriy owner ng planta ...

hello sirs! i'm one of the SA at peak motors. im sorry po sa mga may bad experiences sa ibang ahente namin. hindi naman po lahat ng ahente samin ay ganun. may maasikaso at hindi pabaya sa client even after sales.

sa ngayon po talaga, medyo may kakulangan po sa stocks ng mga non vgt ms. kahit po kami nahihirapan din. actually, hindi na nga din po ako (sa akin lang) nagi-entertain masyado ng montero especially kung non vgt (financing, p.o. cash trans), dahil mako-kompromiso lang ako sa client. kaya, advice ko lang po para sa inyo, kung non-vgt po talaga ang hanap nyo, kung makakahintay, hintayin po natin yung pagdating ng marami-raming stocks. or try nyo po mag-scout sa ibang dealers, baka may natatabi silang unit.
