Panalo to basta the price increase compared to outgoing models won't exceed 100,000. Matatalo nito fortuner which looks too expensive based on thai prices. Pag naglabas pa sila ng glx version na nasa 1.3-1.4 million pesos sure best seller toh. Sana labas nila to sa pinas bago fortuner.hehe

Mukhang pinilit yung kaha. Parang walang koneksyong yung design ng frame at kaha lalot titignan from rear panel. Mas okay design wise ang fortuner and eve but on spec okay na okay. Sana same price ng current monty para magdalawang isip yung bibili ng hilux at upcoming fortuner.

At first wow... Very nice... Pero pag tumatagal tagal parang Na Over naman pala ang exterior design ng montero... Just like the fortuner But I like the MOntero more....

Yung all new everest and sakto sa taste ko.... Especially when I read That the eve was build to rival the prado and the Cherokee jeep class...

Based on the video it's doing 100kph * only 1.6-1.7K rpm. Ano kayang gear to sa kanyang 8 speed tranny? Ang tipid nyan sa all hi way driving....Merton din kayang cruise control to?

Most likely 8th gear. Im guessing overdrive ang 6-7-8. The top of the line meron cruise control. As for fc its the 2.4mivec and the 2.4estec fighting for numero uno.

I like the new design of the front of the new montero, the back I will reserve my judgment until such time I have seen it in the metal. The dash not that much, I'll vote for the new Everest.

I doubt that they will sell this car here as a Montero. In Intl, markets, it has the name Pajero Sport so malamang it will be sold here as a Pajero, a cheaper more affordable Pajero that is ranging between 1.7M to 2.2M. And since matunog ang Pajero sa masa, people will rush into it. It will prove to be more upscsle than the New Fortuner, coz of the name association

The current Montero Sport will continue to sell and will serve as a lower end Diesel Suv just how Mitsubisihi iis well-known for prolonging car models for 20 years or more, and selling more in the process. just look at adventure, l300.

A 1.1M non-VGT Montero Sport will appear as the bang for the buck no-nonsense diesel Suv once the new Everests and Forts become mainstream. Tested na nga ang market, even with the release of the Mux, trailblazer, the Montero sport continues to dominate in sales.

We have emerging provinces na nagkakaron ng purchasing power, a bang for the buck Montero is very ideal to them

Picture the Lada Niva, it has been a great selll since the cold war. Montero can fill that up here in Asia.

Kayo ang nilasing. This was recently launched in Thailand as the Pajero Sport. FYI, Thailand also has our model of the current Montero Sport and it's also called Montero Sport there.

So whoever in the Philippine car media called this upcoming Pajero as the Montero Sport is the one who mixed it up

The Current Montero Sport will be manufactured 10 years more just like what happened in the Adventure. Toyota had the FX, the Revo and the Innova, and still Mitsubishi maintained the Adventure as their only AUV line-up

That's how Mitsubishi plays the game, so dream on if you think this new midel will be a Montero Sport

Fyi, do check youtube, India, Indonesia, Thailand call this the new Pajero. There's no such thing as a 2016 Montero Sport
