Pero namamarket nga ang mobilio, brv, avanza, ertiga as a 7 seater. So probabably same performance sila kapag loaded na.

Experienced that with our city vx that has 1.5 gas engine. Pansin ko if the driver's alone or has 2 passengers, then it feels punchy or zippy from a stop. However, when it is filled with five adults, then it will feel somewhat lethargic from a full stop. Malamang ganyan din sa xpander, lalo na kung a/t.

This may be the effect of the weight on the engine eh hindi naman crdi turbo yan kaya you wouldn't feel the torque that much when fully loaded, unlike pag crdi there is abundance of torque at low rpms kaya hindi basta ramdam na stressed ang engine in that case.

In other words, kaya ng xpander siguro ang full load but don't expect it to be responsive pag galing ka sa full stop kung puno yan.

The Expander has the Mitsu 4A91 engine unless it was tuned differently. With those figures, at what rpm are they rated? I bet it's peak power at 6k rpm and peak torque at 4k rpm. Rarely will you find someone who would push their rides on a day to day basis to the 4k-6k rpm range.

Just to be fair, performance of the Expander will be most likely within the Avanza category. It's enough to ferry people around at an acceptable pace.

Na drive ko na sya and compared it to competition sa World trade. Iba ang arangkada nya kumpara sa BR-v, ertiga and avanza with 4 pax more refined at tahimik ang loob..di ko lang sure performance uphill.

Halos the same lang mga yan. Subjective lang yung differences.

Have you tried flooring the accelerator and going above 4k rpm? Petrol vehicles need to be pushed to that range to know how well they can put power to the pavement.

honda iDSI engine achieves max torque at 2800rpm so it actually drives pretty well at low rpm. but it's an 8-valve design so is totally gutless at high speed i doubt the Xpander's engine has the same low-RPM torque

Eto ba official specs ng engine ni xpander?

16-valve engine which gives a maximum output of 105 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 141Nm at 4,000rpm
