True. Sample ng SUV is Fortuner. The Rush looks more of a shrunken Fortuner. That's why Toyota can call the Rush an SUV coz it's close to resembling one. The Xpander, not so much. It actually looks more of a van.

BUT, that doesn't change the fact that the Xpander looks a lot better. I've been to Toyota San Fernando to check the Innova, eh sakto may Rush sila on display. Nasisikipan ako (malamang, kasi 6'2 ako). Then went to Mitsu San Fernando (just across) to check the Xpander. Damn, space pa lang sold agad saken kahit mahaba paa ko. Tapos magkatabi pa sila ng Montero sa showroom and I can tell you personally na halos walang pinagkaiba yung space ng 2nd and 3rd row ng Xpander at Montero.

As for the 3rd row, malamang masikip talaga siya, pero I sat on it and thought I could probably be comfortable sitting at the 3rd row kung 2-3 hrs na byahe lets say Manila to Bataan. Bearable pa din saken sa 3rd row. Siguro dahil sanay na din ako maipit. haha But I cant say the same thing for the Rush. parang claustrophobic. Just my two cents, the Rush still looks pogi though.

I found 'Xpander' astig just because of it looks. I know that's it's a 4 star in ANCAP compared to a 5-star Rush but they say it's mostly due to the airbags.

As to what each "looks" and "feels" like, eto tingin ko:

Minivan/MPV - Xpander (plushier interior at kulang na lang sliding pa yung doors)
Mini SUV - Rush (more rugged and sits higher with a body on frame chassis)
Station wagon/Crossover - BR-V

Yes. [emoji106] convenient siya for me. Lalo na if auto on/off yung headlights... just push the button to stop the engine, handbrake and get out fromthe vehicle then lock... no need to turn the knob to put off your headlight at night... minsan kasi nalilimutan ko mag turn off ng headlight or park light... ulyanin...

Sa looks mas mukhang SUV ang Rush.

Base kasi yan sa actual viewing ko ng dalawang unit in metal. Almost side by side sila, kaya I have a detailed view ng both car. Hindi base sa picture lang.

I cross out kona yung cx9 as my next suv, akala ko suv yung cx9 , hindi pala, isang malaking mpv lang pala. Kailangan fort looking para ma qualify na suv, balik explorer nalang cguro ako or hintayin ko yung bagong everest with new engine.

Looks like I'll settle with GLS.
Medyo mahal na po talaga sa'min if mag TOTL pa na 1.06m - ang alam ko lang po na additions are: skirts, hill start and stability - but then again baka marami pa hehe.

Just comparing the spec sheet between the GLX, GLS, and GLS Sport, it's easy to see that the mid-range GLS is the best buy.

The incremental features over the GLX are worth it, and it doesn't miss out much vs. the more expensive GLS Sport with tacky body kits.
