My mistake.

I once encountered a situation after pumping the brakes before (with the engine off) after falling thru a drainage manhole and need help to be pushed out.

In that situation, after I was helped out, there was no more braking power even with the brake pedal straight to the floor.

After I started the car, had to pump the brake a few more times before pressure was restored.

It was a 1999 Revo MT.

Imho, if the pedal went straight to the floor. . Then there's fluid leak or air in the system. . . Because. . . It should not happen. When you pumped the brakes when the engine was started, actually evem if you did not start the engine. You're just reintroducing brakefluid or not as effectively, air into the system. . But it will eventually fail again.

I'm honestly not sure what happened exactly that time but the brake performed again after I pumped the brakes more in that exact moment. Happened about 10 years ago, car was 9 years old (more or less). =) Well, it's why I appreciate the discussion because people here do chime in.

My own personal experience can only "go so far" so seeing the inputs helps me correct any misinformation (or lack thereof) I have.

This fuel pump problem got me thinking of the gas tank leak the 1st gen innovas had when Toyota debuted them several years back. I remember several tsikoteers were problematic about their new rides because the leak was understandably stressing them out.

I just can't recollect what toyota's course of action was.

baka mid-2020? unless demand will be slow in indonesia or mitsu can ramp-up production really fast.

i assume mga P80-100k difference niya sa xpander unless they offer AWD/4WD.

Plano po naming bumili ng Xpander. We're from Region 2 pero sa QC kami bibili ng unit dahil ang mga units ng Mitsubishi dito sa Isabela dealership ay "binibyahe" from source to the dealership. Wala silang CAR CARRIER TRAILER tulad ng dealerships ng Honda at Toyota dito sa amin. May mga nakasabay kasi kaming ibinabyaheng Mitsu units noon na over 80 kph ang takbo. That's a problem kung under "break in" period pa lang ang mga ito.

Heto po ang tanong ko: kung sa QC kami bibili, pwede bang yung PMS ay sa Isabela dealership ng Mitsu? Or kung saan ka nakabili ay doon din ang PMS ng sasakyan?

No issue naman kung ibinabyahe papunta dealer. Tinatakbo at hinaharabas naman ang sasakyan na dipa nabibili. Tinatanggal lang nila cable ng odometer.

Atleast di ka na mahirapan magbreak in. Hehehe.
