I have no issues with it being 4AT. I just assumed it was CVT.

I tried to have backing sensor installed but CASA said currently, they are still trying to figure out on how to install at the rear bumper since apparently there is'nt much space to put the sensors on the rear bumper of the Xpander. With the Body kit/Skirt will have more space but still not much and they worry that it might be too low to install

Checked out the Expander in the metal sa MMPC Q Ave. They only have the automatic there. The face is a love it or hate it ordeal, I personally can't really fall in love with the face but I wouldn't say it is ugly. The light placement/config remind me of the Juke again, where the normal placement of the headlights isn't a headlight but just DRL. So part of me isn't comfortable with the design. But that's me.

Inside, it is more spacious for a 6/7 seater when compared to the Avanza, and I think even the top of the line Rush which is also being sold as a 7 seater, it is more spacious when it comes to legroom. I've adjusted the middle row to fit a 6ft tall individual in the 3rd row and it still give enough space to have another 6ft individual sit on the 2nd row. So that was refreshing.

In terms of internal arrangement of seats, it reminds me of the Mobilio but feels "taller". So in terms of "class", I'd say they compete with each other. I'm not sure if and when Toyota will pull out the Avanza from the Market given that both the Avanza and Rush somewhat cost the same especially TOTL models. So it is odd seeing it. Unless they plan to trim down the Avanza to just a 1.3 engine so they dont eat up each other's markets.

The styling of the Rush still gets my nod compared to the Expander. Don't know if either of them would be bouncy if only 2 people are riding inside. Never got a road test yet.

yan yata ang wigo's battery rin. maliit nga, mahal naman for its size!
    i am confident, tatagal siya.
years before, i got the smallest battery i could find, for my old sentra.
tumagal naman, well past the warranty period.
the battery is just to start the car, kasi. once started, the alternator provides.

usually first battery is fresh from the battery factory kaya tumatagal at least 18months [emoji28]

in my experience, the battery in the car from the casa lasts 1 year, at the most 2 years.
it is the subsequent battery i buy, that lasts longer. only when i buy the battery, do they pour the electrolyte in. i think the battery is as fresh as can be.
