    Overdrive is just a switch that allows to downshift to third gear ... it's useful when overtaking or when driving slightly uphill ... it's not an additional gear ... when overdrive is off, transmission will shift up to 3rd gear only ... if on, it will shift up to 4th gear ...

    Overdrive normally means the highest gear that's less than 1.0 ratio ...

    1800 xpanders already reserved sabi ng MMPI. Tapos first batch 75 units. Hmm..mukhang matagal mahihintay ung 1725 reservees.

    Nothing against the avanza, i actually find it a good proposition for a small cheap asian AUV.
    I was just reacting to other people complaining that the avanza-x looks ricey. Simple lang, wag bumili kung feeling mo linoloko ka. At least toyota is reinventing the old models they have to re-excite customers, ricey or not[emoji51]

    Anyone test driven the Xpander with 2, 4 pax and at full capacity? Really curious how a 1.5L can haul that much.

    Haven't test driven, but my 1.3 engine vios with 5 adult passengers, 1 kid, and sardine line trunk kinaya yung travel namin from Laguna to Sorsogon via bitukang manok ng Quezon, what more pa yung 1.5 engine.

    Siguro kung sanay ka sa WRX, FXT, or Civic RS maninibago ka, pero for a common car, I have no doubt with its engine. Just need to modulate ones expectations.
