adventure maintenance

Hi MAC Club,

I’ve been reading lots of nice happenings about your group, I as well have an adventure with over 180,000 kms in it, no major problems whatsoever, very reliable machine. I was wondering where you guys have your rides maintained? Lets say from the basic change oil all the way to major maintenance? Can you recommend shops near the QC area?

Your inputs will be well appreciated

Hello.

Since within warranty pa yung Adventure ko, I have it serviced sa casa (Diamond Motors Quezon Ave.)mismo, though there was one time where a casa technician changed the oil and cleaned the brakes at my house. Before, I 'd have everything done at the casa, kaya lang na-realize ko medyo taga ang presyo pagdating sa langis (Turbo XP) and other replaceable parts.

Nowadays, what I do is have the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air cleaner changed at Shell Arclight (Quezon Ave., tapat ng Hi-Top Supermart), then drive to Diamond Motors Quezon Ave. for the actual checkup and adjustments. Medyo mas tipid. And instead of using XP, nag-switch ako to Shell Helix Diesel. I'm nearing my 40,000km PMS, so malamang same routine na naman, plus palit ng gear oil.

AFAIK, merong maintenance offer ang Mitsubishi sa mga out-of-warranty vehicles nila. Just the same, I suggest na sa labas ka na magpalit ng replaceable parts tapos dalhin mo na lang sa casa for checkup.

same with sir bogeyman. Diamond Que Ave.. current odo 33k lahat casa... medyo masakit nga sa bulsa tlga yung PMS.. kya after mawala na eto sa warranty sa labas ko na eto pagagawa....

currently 103,000 kms...me and my dad were the ones who does almost all the maintenance from change oil (yes, kame po), AC, power window problems, fuel filter replacement etc...

and no, di po kame mekaniko...talagang marunong lang mangalikot ng sasakyan...

pag di na kaya ng powers namin (at kulang na sa gamit) tsaka na papasok ang mekaniko

Wow galing!!! pwd ba pagtpos ng warranty nito mangungulit na ako syo ng DIY change oil!

Thank you po sa mga inputs, ok nga sana mag isa eh kaso ndi naman ako gano marunong e.g. tune-ups,clean breaks, etc. kaya isip ko baka may suking shop/mekaniko ang MAC club hehehe.

meron ako taga otis na sya ngayon. tune up lang pinapagawa ko sa kanya the rest ako na....

nag inquire na ako sa diamond motor, at yes pwede daw 2nd owned at any model na adventure basta dalhin mo lang yung photo copy ng OR/CR at pwede din any branch
