Helping an uncle buy new tires for his 98 Pajero. The stock tires say 10R15- what is this equal to, 255/70R15 or 265/70R15?
Manual specifies several choices like 235/70R15, 31x10.5R15 or 265/70R15- depending on rims and model. What is the rim width on stock alloys of 98 Pajero- is it a 15x7?
We're looking at metric sized tires for highway driving only. Would appreciate info on actual stock size needed so we don't have to compensate in gearing or odometer reading.
Stock tires with 10R15 are usually 31x10.5x15, the nearest metric measurement for 31" tires are 265/75R15. But I think local tire distributors stock only 265/70R15. Which is tad smaller in sidewall height by 5%.
