Had a chit chat with a sales agent in one of Mitsubishi dealership. She told me they are around 100+ agents in that particular dealership and competition is tough since they are many and they have to compete with each other with the discount and freebies given to the customer. I also ask why do people travel all the way from Pampanga and even Mindanao just to buy a vehicle in Manila Dealership and the agent told me because it is cheaper and they can give more as compared when they buy it elsewhere. So I ask her if she is available for a coffee elsewhere and totally forgot to her the 10k reservation fee which is my intention.

    totoonaman.
even if one has to drive the new car long distance from ncr to province town,
    cheaper pa rin overall.
but the total cost of the car and the so-called freebies, is, i believe, tightly controlled by the manufacturer, to prevent price-cutting wars.

i know of some toyota SAs, who will drive the new car from the dealer's to the costumer's provincial place. for a nominal fee, of course.

san kayo nag kape? did you get your discount?

the last time i went to mitsu, about a year or two ago, it would appear, there is a standard hefty cash discount, on some of their models...

Yeah we had coffee and she is giving me additional 10k discount for this month December and she is hinting me that price might change next year January (I'm not sure if it will be increase on the srp or more discounts? didn't bother to ask). Yes, I was surprise by the discount they are giving unlike Toyota they just give a few thousand discounts for cash buyer. This will be my first time driving a mid size SUV as I'm accustomed driving an MPV and it is really a huge difference hope I can learn quickly driving a manual tranny.

    nopo.
i am now in that stage of life, where i prefer smaller, easier-to-drive cars.
sold my old innova MT and got a pre-owned 2015 altis V with CVT.

Cheaper po ang from Manila units, cheaper by 90k+.
Alibi ng dealer is may shipping pa daw.
If ikaw mag asikaso sa shipping, mga 30k or less lang ata.
How much more if personal mo kunin yung unit at mag road trip.

Sa Toyota, one-price policy na daw sila.
May makapag confirm ba dito if this is still true?
Last ako nag inquire is when the Raize was first launched.

Oh i see so you already sold your Innova. Coming from an Innova it should be much lighter driving an Altis.

Not yet..... I'm still consolidating those quotations as different dealers gave different discount (difference of 10 to 30k) so I'm choosing the best offer. For the GT Mags swap they are offering me 15k I think it's very much worth it as add-ons.
