September 1st, 2009 03:15 AM #1i nid help guys.. which engine will be best for my lancer 2001, is it the 4g63,4g63t, or 6a13tt? my budget is only around 100k, im not panning to race, i just want to have a car that will satisfy my "need for speed", but i cannot sacrifice much on the fuel efficiency side..

lancer 2001 cedia body? mukhang mabibitin ka sa 100k na budget if you are going the turbo route. the 4G63T that will be a straight swap to your lancer should be sourced from an EVO 7-9. The NA versions is just lethargic and not worth the money spent on the swap. Pwede rin yung 6A13TT, pero magiging front heavy ang lancer mo and it will take a lot of modification to install the V6 into your lancer. It can be done, though, if you have a very deep pocket.

4g63t boss....thats the way to go..yung barkada ko na mag uupgrade ng galant niya na stock 4g63 to T, may na canvass lang ng 50k sa makina at 15k sa pag mount.. sa 100k mo may extra ka pa..iba ang hatak ng may T...

4G63T
also consider the following engines:
4G92 MIVEC DOHC
4G93 DOHC turbo

nag 4G63T na ako
that engine is a lot of fun
a lot of torque
yun nga lang, malakas sa gasLast edited by uls; September 1st, 2009 at 12:12 PM.

pag 4G63T into a lancer, kailangan conversion ng engine support
and you will need bigger brakes

Pero ang sabi niya, there is a reason kung bakit EVO 1-9 ang gamit na makina is 4g63T....be afraid be very afraid
