someone actually posted this on another forum: "The Pajero's handling is uncomfortable on curvy roads, and has slight tippy feel. It can seem awkward in tight maneuvers. Strong crosswinds can cause it some mild wandering along the highway. Off-road driving is a totally different matter"

"Capable, but the tall body on the old chassis make for a sluggish SUV. Better get a Toyota Prado."

another person posted this: "Mahal siya, parang ply wood ang seats, napaka cheap nang dash at interior at napaka mahal nang 3.2DI Diesel version kaysa sa gas."

"The Pajero only looks cool pero mas ok pa yung Outlander nila"

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Is there a trail-capable SUV without a 'slightly tippy' feeling? It is not a sports car after all. Baka gusto niya maramdaman ang 'slightly tippy' feeling ng GEN 2 ko on 33" tires as we run around Elliptical road at 100kph++.

Old Chassis? Sigurado bang GEN III ang pinag-uusapan diyan? AFAIK, the GEN III uses a new unibody.

Mahal talaga ang diesel engine kaysa sa gas. Esp. if they share the same equipment levels. I have never felt the interior of the GEN III to be cheap although some styling elements do seem a bit tacky. The GEN II inteiror looks and feels a whole lot cheaper but it is still within acceptable levels (malayo pa din sa cheapness ng GEN I Expedition dash hehehehe).

The seats do not feel like plywood. They are firm for added support and long haul comfort. Soft seats tend to submarine after a few hours of driving. If you like driving in a lousy position, be my guest.

Sige, sa kanya na yung Outlander niya. I'll take a GEN III over it any day of the week.

OT. ALA pa ba yung 2.4 MIVEC ng outlander? 160hp na yun pangtapat sa crv at rav4...

anyways id even take a gen3 over the new prado... locally ang engine ng prado same lang sa old model nila except for the intercooler i think...

Sa defunct 4x4magazine nga rates the cornering of the gen3 a lot better than that of the prado.

    imo. ko lang pow

id prefer the prado over the gen3 paj, offroad wise, better ang prado. the gen3 should corner better because of the independent suspension. sayang nga.

Watch the power of the gen3 pajero in action... i think you just need to get used first to it's improvements (!) to get the best out of this machine. "...Uncomfortable on curvy roads, and has slight tippy feel...", hey they added functional changes that require getting familiar with first. Learn to use it first and you'll see the advantage (IMHO).

problema lang sa Pajero Evo, walang ni-release na original LHD and parts are difficult to come by.

    Pero ganda sana.

Bakit nga ba walang nire-release dito na SWB na Pajero, parang tulad ng SWB na Shogun sa UK?

Baka kasi hindi bumenta! Kasi sa atin one of the main reasons of getting an SUV e yung dami ng maisasakay at ika nga' mas malaki mas maganda! just my 02 cents:D

Kasi wala daw masyadong market ang mga 2door/3door vehicles. Pilipino kse mahilig mag maximize ng seating capacity sa mga sasakyan kahit kotse hanggat pwede pa... lol.

Sir vr6 ano fuel consumption ng gen3 nyo? gas ba yun o diesel? anyways gen3 parin ako over the new prado... matagal pa cguro maging off-road vehicle yun kung akong masusunod

Hi Jeep, I'm not much of a ofroad expert, but I think they considered the desert as an extreme example... but there are also videos of the Gen3 gliding through beaches, wet terrain, climbing up and decending steep rough rocky terrain. I think ATC will work well also on muddy terrain, don't you?
