My two month daily drive impression of the gls premium so far...

Lets get annoyances out of the way first:

1. I need ac vents to have those total shut option, though its dual climate, even putting my side of the cabin at 29 degrees, the blower draft is just uncomfortable in long drives, all my other vehicles have it (even the cheaper ones)
2. Wish it had a central door lock/unlock button located in center console or at the very least at the window switches instead on the door handle (so 90s)
3. Make owners able to reprogram the alarm system themselves, i wanted a silent lock/unlock, the manual setup sheet is useless, just wont work
4. Steering really feels like it has worn out rack ends going in my driveway (turning on incline) with that loose sensation
5. I get 5 to 6 km/l in city, 8 to 9 mixed, was hoping for more
6. Would have traded the dual climate with the auto headlight on function instead. (A feature i thought was not needed in my other cars, but i am now wanting to have in the gls premium

And what i'm liking so far...

1. Ride is comfy, handles quite well even for a truck based suv
2. Ac is so cold, at 25 to 26 degrees at noon and 28 to 29 at night, lowest fan speed all the time
3. Cabin acoustics is GREAT for adding a superb sound system
4. Third row seat as test driven before is indeed comfy on long drives even for adults, entry to third row is likewise the easiest and fastest to get into (vs everest and fortuner)
5. Cabin seems to be holding quite well against kids
6. Driving position and seat cushioning is superb and comfy
7. Power is sufficient for highway and country roads overtaking with full load

Pretty sure it's possible to close the side vents ... try pushing it all the way to the right or left ...

Ask for the complete vehicle security programming manual ... it's supposed to be given to you ... it's a third party install by Winterpine ...

28 to 29? That's already hot ... have your temperature sensor checked ...

I have it and is useless. The instructions are clear as daylight but following it just won't work so its useless.

Yes 28 to 29 is already heater blower in my other vehicles, the montero visibly removes the flake sign only at 32 degrees and still somewhat blows semi cold air at 30 to 31.

I think not...it should apply to conduction stickers too.

Now, I have a question about sensors.
I would like to have front parking sensors installed in my newly bought Montero Sport,
can the dealer install it for me with the same quality as that of the Thailand GT versions (2 sensors on front grille, 1 sensor on each front cheek, 2 on to the front fenders).

Need your expert advice please.

Looking for a dealer who accepts cash payment is really frustrating, one dealer promised to give me a unit last week that got delayed to yesterday and then turned to no definite date, reason, no stock daw, others don't accept cash payment, they want me to get their in house financing which is way too high.
