    Is it true that on our 2016 MS only fully synthetic oil can be used? I was told by DCT Union motor Balintawak. Also they're quoting me for 7k on my 1k pms then turbo xp oil only. I think they're trying to rip me off.

    Any suggestions?

    Since I'm from Pampanga I've asked Carworld if they would honor the free labor for the 1k pms even though I didn't bought my unit with them; and they will. Then asked them how much will it cost me for the change oil. Lo and behold! no need for a 1k km change oil on our 2016 Montero, they'll just do a 15 points check up. Scheduled Oil change will be on its 10k km, which is also shown on our cars MID settings.

    This is what after sales service should be; honest and true to their clients.

    dyan po ako nagpapa service.. 5,500 lang po sya full syn.. paalis mo lang yung mga other services gaya ng mga kung ano anong cleaning.

    Sa next 5,000 kms checkup mo 1,400 na lang ibabayad mo.

    As I've pointed on my previous post, As per Carworld there's no need for a change oil * 1k km, they'll just do a 15 points check up.

    What's disappointing is After Sales Dishonesty is still rampant!

    pardon my ignorance, is Carworld a dealer like Citi?
    and what is their recommended oil? mineral or synthetic?
    lastly, what is the recommended interval when changing for both?
    iba iba kasi ang sinasabi bawat dealer so better kung may reliable source

    Sa mga naririnig ko sir e kapag mineral oil 5k km change oil na kapag fully synthetic oil naman 10k km at kung fully synthetic palit oil filter kapag 5k km plus top up ng synthetic oil same brand. Ito po ay tsismis lang hintay po tayo ng sagot ng expert ung may experience na po.😊

    Carworld is a dealer in Pampanga.
    It's up to the costumer on what oil he wants.

    Fully synthetic oil should be 10k km interval; tap up & oil filter change at 5k km if needed.

    meron bang egr blanking sa paranaque area? and anyone experienced having their montero for maintenance tapos naka blank egr? hindi ba mapapansin or detect?
