Need advice. I want to upgrade my gls 4x2 halogen lights to hid. Do i need to get retrofits? Or changing it to hids is just fine since they already have projector housing? Anyone with base gls have done hid upgrade yet?

Changing to HID's is just fine pero mas malaki ang kita ng retrofitters kung bubuksan ang housing and papalitan din ng clear lens ng projectors. Tho mas maganda ang output nito, the risks in opening the housing outweighs the advantages of changing to clear lens.

Hanap ka nalang ng magandang HID brand then pakabit mo sa magaling na installer.

Yung isang naka GLS nag HID 55W. OK naman sya at malakas ang output. However, bubutasin yung Cover ng Headlamp mo sa likod para ilabas yung Ballast ng HID.

aside sa pagpalit ng hid bulb, possible din kaya ipagawa o baliktarin yong switch ng fog lights to drl sa casa gaya ng sa premium?

Here's another difference from GLS to GLS premium aside from the bulb.
GLS DRL: lower part of bumper (aka fog lights)
GLS Premium DRL: just below the head lights (however if you use this on GLS, your tail lights are on)

just want to share, just did an interior job, put a transparent/clear sticker on the aluminium finish inside, for the big console and the door handles (interior). lagi kasi nagasgas ung tuhod at hita ko. especially when cornering. i can't help making it as pantukod left and right. i know someday it will go black due to excessive rubbing, like what happened to our old monty. so its worth it to put it. i had it done at foil plus west avenue. thanks, they have done a very nice job. will be back there to install also for the steering thumb rest.

anyone, experience na nalagutok sa front wheels while making a u-turn. well ill have it check na lang sa kasa.

Why do you need inter change the Fog Lamp to DRL? Why not just change the DRL bulb?

Hi sir! I want to change the DRL stock bulb to an HID or LED bulb (whichever is possible) para po mas maliwanag yung buga ng ilaw during daytime driving. Dudukutin lang po ba yun sa likod nung foglamp to replace the said bulb? Any HID or LED bulb will do po ba or do i need to get a specific type po para compatible?

Not sure din ako if issue ba talaga, since di talaga sya "alog", parang napaka mild na vibrate lang while turning around 180 deg. On very smooth surface mo lang mararamdaman, sa painted floor mall parkings.

Kaya di big deal sakin. Di ko nga nireport nung nag 1k ako.[emoji14]

Ah meron ako nakausap di na daw kailangan butasin. But only to that specific brand. Ung iba kailangan butasin talaga

Anyone here have changed to 20 inch rims? Is it true that you can feel vibrations on the steering wheels at around 100 to 120 kph due to the center hole of the wheels too big for the montero 2016 size?

sa akin umabot pa ako ng 160 kph wala namang vibration. can you give us link about the center hole thing too big?
