I have a question, i bought my montero in diamond motors valle verde. Can i have my 5,000kms pms in a different dealership lets say citimotors makati? Or do i have to stick with diamond motors for the duration of my warranty?

You can have your Montero Sport serviced at any Mitsubishi dealer even in the provinces. Avoid Citimotors though, there's a thread about them here.

Citimotors has a bad reputation even with dealership. You may Go elsewhere.

Test drove the new montero today and it felt very responsive. My question is why do others still put a throttle controller on their new monty?

Other observations i had was ride is softer car like vs previous MS vs TB. Also it was mentioned here the front AC vents issues, i think they're ok; you can also shut them individually.

I agree with the knee hitting the middle console w/c leads to discomfort on long drives.

One thing i don't like is the driver seat rotary adjustment on the Gls variant. I prefer the ones on the fortuner and hilux.

Other than that good driving visibility, some interior improvements can be made with the future MMC. Aside from that I'm sold by it. Put down a reservation already and looking forward on driving one very soon.

Another thing, what about the color choices? Sedona red, virgil gray or white? The red is really good looking under the sun. Though safe colors are the gray & white.

Btw, was about to get an Hilux G but had a changed of heart.

I got the silver (gls) because the chrome accents didnt come out as strong compared to the other colors. And future dings and scratches wont be as obvious. I was considering virgil gray but the color was a bit dull when seen in the metal (or it could just be me).

I always had a long ride with my MS2016 I dont feel any discomfort sir with console. You will get used to it and its just OK.

I Travelled Baler, batangas, baguio-balikan, alaminos, bolinao, the whole bataan. Next will be bicol.

Just want to rant on this issue regarding Diamond Motors (Cainta)

Got my Monty thru P.O. from them last april 4th, tuesday medyo pahapon na nung sabihin ni bank na may atd na ko, so i went straight to the dealership to pick up my unit, medyo matagal kasi dinokumentuhan pa, so natapos sya medyo late na i think past 5 o 6 pm na ata nung ilabas ko si monty, drove him home.. Di na ko nagkaron pa ng chance na tignan sya since gabi na and galing pa ko sa trabaho kaya pagod na.. Then kinabukasan umulan sa antipolo so i decided to have it washed since naputikan sya, after seeing it being dried up noticed a lot of watermarks from the windshield, windows, and chrome parts.. So i went around to see other parts of the car, marami ding wax na hindi nabura ng maayos, and finally to cap it off napansin kong may white nanparang libag na di natanggal sa may hood area ng monty and the car wash owner told me na protective film daw yun medyo di maganda pagkakatanggal kaya mapapansin mo na parang may naiwan pang part..

Sinabi ko na to sa SA ko and she told me na i raise ko na lang sa 1st pms ko para ma address nila yung issue..

Not really decided if am going to wait for my 1st pms o ipa tira ko na lang sa suking deatailer ko, worry ko kasi baka pag tumagal medyo humirap na syang tanggalin..

Ka upset lang kasi parang di brand new yung condition ng ibigay ni dealer saken yung kotche, i dont know if ako lang pero nung nilabas namen ng erpat ko yung audi nya di naman ganito condition nya, i know na medyo hi end yung ikino compare ko, but still this is a brand new car.. La namang prublema na ma delay ng isang araw ung release ng unit just make sure na once i release ni dealer yung unit ehh masulit naman yung perang binayad nya..

Bring it back at once sa casa and talk to both manager and SA to have it resolved ASAP. Don't wait for the 1st pms. Mahina ang SA mo Kung ganun magisip since it's a brand new car and should be almost free from blemishes. Good luck

Yun nga sir ehh.. Kanina kasi pinunasan ko yung mga leftover na wax and noticed na kahit yung chrome parts sa may bandang front grille may watermarks din.. Abutin ba sir ng whole day ito if ipa service ko kay casa?

Mukhang a few hours maiwan if they have a difficult time removing the watermarks. If they can't R emove the watermarks, ask for replacement of all parts affected.

Mga sir ask ko lng, new car owner here, kaylangan pa ba tlga magpa rustproofing? May mga nababasa ako na hindi naman need kasi almost lahat naman daw ng new cars ngyon e naka rust proof na paglabas ng factory, TIA

water mark on chrome parts? its normal. Just use a liquid wax tanggal yan.

if the oil came with the car from the factory, i would assume it's oil good for the car...

Possible nakababad outdoors ang unit sa depot bago dinala sa dealer kaya heavy on the watermarks from rain/moisture.

Yan din tingin ko boss, if your passig through star tollway i think somewhere in malvar or lipa, madaanan mo yung planta ng ford, and from there makita mong naka expose outdoors yung mga units.. So i think ganun din nangyare saken..

Got the premium due to the curtain airbags, drl lights, leather seats, autofold side mirrors. Safety for my family is my upmost concern that's why sulit na agad ang curtain airbags sa premium
