OCC works as long as you have the patience to maintain it ( cleaning can of accumulated oil, change filter, etc...). For EGR blanking I recall both 4D56 and 4N15 engines do self close their EGRs in instances of stressed situations (engine needs more oxygen) like carrying heavy loads, going uphill and high speed runs. So blanking is only beneficial at lower engine stress conditions.

The black substance that blocks our EGRs is soot, one of the bad by-products of diesel combustion. Soot production is directly proportional to the amount of sulfur in our diesel fuel. EURO 4 diesel has 90% less sulfur compared to EURO 2 diesel. Using EURO 4 diesel alone will give you benefits of cleaner exhaust gasses ( less soot meaning cleaner EGR), longer oil drain intervals (cleaner oil) and slightly better engine life. I am one of the early adopters of Unioil EURO 4 diesel back in 2011-2012. My Monty I recall was less than 20,000 kms traveled distance when I started using it. It really does not matter if your Monty is casa or self-maintained as long as you maintain it. Besides EGR cleaning is not a standard procedure which I did not avail in my old Monty's PMS which I only did up to 20,000 kms. After 20k kms regular PMS is done with the help of my suking Shell Station using regular Rimula R4x oil, Vic oil/air/filters. With exception of ATF change (ATF fluid available only sq casa) and timing belt change.

Regarding change oil:
5,000kms for mineral oil
10,000kms for synthetic.. how about the oil filter? Is it ok to wait 10,000kms kasi sabay dapat palit ng oil and filter. at sa mineral oil masyadong magastos na every 5,000kms palit oil filter. any thoughts or clarification on this?
Sa presyo na Php 230/L na fully synthetic oil na gamit ko ngyon, wala ako problema na twice a year mag oil change. Hehehe

mga sirs!
1st: any warranty issue, my DRL sa left headlight just went out. anyone experience this? yung service officer said na approve na yung claim ko but its almost 2 months wala pa din daw yung headlight assy. suggestions kung san mas mabilis mag process neto?
2nd: anyone nagloloko yung key nila? di kagad nag rerespond yung car na mag lock unlock although makita mo na nag bblink yung light nung key and may times na key not detected pag mag sstart na ako.
TIA!![]()
Key not detected also experienced it, mostly if there's something sa pocket that may have obstructed the signal so nilalabas ko lang from my pocket.. about delayed response in lock/unlock di pa na experience bro..
