IMHO. feature for feature and as you have said discounting the notion of experienced reliability. To me talaga, ang main like ko is Engine n Powertrain😀 And walang pila hehehe. Dwnload mo specs nila and compare mo side by side. Pricy talaga si Monty. Also kapag nasa likod/passnger ka parang no diff ang feel sa Monty whilst in Eve iba talaga compared to his older brother

Hintayin ko muna Sir yung approval from our HR and bank since I'll be using my company car plan. And unang tanong na talaga ngayon for car loan, "for uber/grab/and the like po ba to sir?". Haha.

From south luzon kasi ako kaya most likely sa dasma or manilabay ako, or depende since parang compared sa other brands sakit sa ulo yung after sales ni mitsubishi. especially when scheduling pms.

hndi ako naniniwala sa SUA bro because im also driving a 2012 montero. if i didnt have an experience driving the montero before i wouldn't have purchased the new model. tested ko na kasi.

Don't rely on the MID for fuel consumption. If you want to know the real and actual fuel consumption, do the old school method of fueling up the car up to full tank but fuel gauge should be at 1/4. Then rest the trip meter. Ubusin ulit ang fuel up to 1/4 tank, then full tank ulit. Divide the km distance from the last full tank to the liters of fuel filled up. Doon mo malalaman ang actual fuel consumption. MIDs have discrepancies pa and are not reliable sources of FC.

Actually totoo nga justified price ng all new monty. Better than 3.0 MUX.

    - vehicle is bigger than its predecessor
    - second row space is just right for medium sized people like me.
    - third row is tumble and fold. Not recommended for big people as it is cramped. Good for kids/young adults.
    - like some others, front face is a "love it or hate it" thing due to too much chrome.
    - rear is so- so as well. Ok sana yung rear LED taillights but lumabas siyang inverted rear tailight version ng current gen Honda jazz. Also, yung rear window is small, hindi mo halos makita yung rear view.
    - yung third row window panel is small, but you can still see it.

    Montero test drive report:

Steering effort is lighter than my former 2009 Monty GLS SE. Not mabigat, not magaan, tama lang. Everest still has the lightest steering effort

Ride is comfortable, more comfortable than the Everest and much more comfortable than my former Monty

Interior color is not dumihin due to black color unlike Everest and upcoming Fortuner na beige and brown

Touchscreen has iPhone and Android screen mirroring

Leather seats are softer than the Everest Trend variant but as soft as the Everest Titanium variants

Engine is more responsive than the 2.2L engine of the Everest, quieter also

8 speed A/T shifts smoother than the 6 speed A/T of the Everest

For now, it's a close fight between Monty and Eve based on my test drive, Monty winning by a slight advantage.

Wow! Thanks numbah5 for your review and feedback. It's good that you have direct experience and comparison comparing the old Monty, new Eve and new Monty.

Have seen it yesterday up close, and coupled with your comments above, looks like Monty is my primary choice at the moment.

    Nice one bro.

Go to BGC, they have a prelaunch test drive event at Boni High Street. The variant is there. Also, Mitsubishi Quezon Avenue has a GT variant on display

Turbo lag is still there but it's significantly less than the 2.5 4D56 VGT which I also drove before going to Anvaya Cove and La Union using my bestfriend's former Montero GTV. The turbo lag on the 2.4 4N15 is minimal compared to the 2.5 4D56 VGT
