    You are right. ATF MA1 is not a special ATF. There are in fact no "special" ATFs as ATF fluids are manufactured to a set of parameters established by the transmission designer as what is needed by the particular transmission design. As you so rightly point out, there exist many ATF fluids from different manufacturers that meet the parameters specified by the ATF MA1 specification.

    I agree you can use a non-Mitsu branded ATF in an Aisin R8AWG/V8AWG 8 speed as long as it is equivalent to the ATF MA1 specification.

    But these instructions are copied and pasted straight from the Mitsubishi shop service manual for the 2016 Mitsubishi KR# and KS# series Montero Sport.

    While i agree that it is very elaborate and maarte, knowing this information can help prevent costly damage to your MS drive train while it is being transported and help ensure that the casa/repair shop is treating your ride properly and not causing further damage to it.

    many years ago,
    we went to a hotel event.
    parking was along the main road.
    after the party, our car was the only one left. the others had been towed. the tow-man was looking at our underside, because he couldn't see where he could attach the hook...

    He he oo nga pag na tow ka ng MMDA at hindi flatbed ginamit nila tostado transmission at electric parking brake natin. Kaya pag na tow ng MMDA siguraduhin na sa flatbed ilalagay Montero, otherwise madami sisirain yun.

    We already knew the srp was high back when it was introduced in 2016... the Montero sport aka pajero sport in Thailand is the cheapest PPV in Thailand.

    all ppvs are from Thailand and their prices there is a good reference.

    Mga boss paano ba paganahin ang defogger natin? Kahapon kasi maulan at nag start mag moist ang windshield, I tried the defogger pero di nawala ang moisture. Binaba ko nalang tuloy ang window [emoji23]

    rear defogger yan bro. for windshield.. you have to set a warmer temp..say 27 c
