Lame excuse ng dealer. Hanap kana lang dealer na meron at doon ka bumili. Test drive mo, iwas buyer’s remorse

Hi all. Thinking of replacing my 2013 Montero GLX MT with the 2017 or 2018 Montero GLS AT.

Just wondering what the typical maintenance costs would be sa casa (inclusive of oil)?

My GLX kasi between Php8-12k depending on whether light or heavy PMS.

Considering the Everest and Terra as well but worried about PMS costs.

    "as often as you wish."
it depends on how fast those streaks develop.
replacing them every year at the start of the rainy season, seems to be a good idea.
and if you take to refills, they are so cheap (less than 150 bucks a pair), you can replace them even more often.

Clear your wiper of debris before driving by blowing or shaking them ... specially when parked under a tree ... under normal circumstances and if used heavily, they should be changed every 6 months ... got covered parking ... so ours lasts about 2-3 years ...

    Hi Guys,

Sorry but I'm new to tsikot.com so I'm posting my question here instead.

I just bought a new montero gls premium 2018 and I also have the old montero glx model, both automatic. Ive been using the new montero for almost 2 weeks now but I find it odd that the shifting is not as smooth as I want it to be, I think my old montero is even better in this aspect. With the new montero, I can feel the car shaking somehow every time the gear changes, and more often than I expect (perhaps due to 8 speed?). I want to know if this is normal, or I just need to get used to it. With my old monty, I can just maintain my foot on the gas pedal as it shifts, without feeling the need to step on the gas harder.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

So confusing with 8 speed mivec. Gears still new compare sa old monty mo na medyo napudpod na yung gears. Mine has no issue kahit nakamaintain lang apak sa gas pedal. Congrats and enjoy. Our monty is not cvt anyway.

Thats strange, shaking during gear change? Mine is 2016 premium i can only feel when the turbo kicks in. With 8speed smooth naman during gear change.

Guys any idea how much for the tpms sensors and where best to get them? Just got a 2018 MS GLS AT, and sadly no more TPMS as standard

Thanks all for the reply and tips. If the streaks become unbearable (and unsafe), I’ll just replace them immediately. Baka makasama pa pagtitipid. Once a year is not that bad I guess. Surprised lang n others’ take much longer to get worn out.

Thanks for the note. Curious if anyone here has tried and tested if these will work with the stock AVT HU.

Never encountered that whirling helicopter noise. Maybe coming from a belt or a fan.
Try turning off the AC of it goes away. Of it doesnt, baka nasa engine na.
Any which way, have it checked asap
