Based on the stance and wheelbase. Mukhang carryover old chassis and retuned suspension tong bago.

Hmm. Sayang yung M-ASTC tinanggal pa sa base, was expecting it to be standard considering the price. Inuna pa nila paddle shifters, cruise control, epb, etc.

Oo nga kase basic safety features yan and should have been a standard issue just like in Everest na even Ambiente have that kaya IMHO. this Montero is quite pricey compared to the Everest. There was this comparison table somewhere here in tsikot based on Thai specs and pricing. Ang layo ng pricing from that kung malapit lang dun hands down winner to.

Wait lang. There's no mention of front parking sensors for the 2016 Monty. It's a feature available in the Thai and other markets. Another feature possibly omitted by Mitsubishi PH.

Bibigyan ba ng medalya pag napatunayan na sa Japan or Thailand ginawa ang Monterosport na ito? Haha ✌✌✌

Kidding aside, I like how the base model of this new MS is equipped with all the basic safety features that a car guy needs. ABS, EBD, SRS Airbags, etc.

Driving aids make people dumber by the day. Seriously.

We should not rely too much on these electronics, because primarily, we're still the one controlling the vehicle. I agree with *minicarph. More electronics = more things to get busted through the years.

I'd buy one of these in 2-3 year's time. Palumain ko muna mu-x ko birthday na sa Dec 15! 🙌

Are there proofs that car electronics getting conked out after a few years of usage. Because I haven't read any user reviews of cars with too much electronics that get conked out. For me, those features are also for added safety. It's better to have them and enjoy those features than actually not having them and regretting not having them.

Paniwalang paniwala naman kayo kay OB na isa nang legendary troll dito sa tsikot [emoji16][emoji23][emoji16][emoji23]

Oo nga eh para naman may bearing lahat ng links na yun.

mitsubishi Japan wanted to supervise this by themselves because of the current gen's success. Initially, the current Montero is for Russia only. They pitted it against sa Fortuner dito sa tin, and guess what the bluff worked.

Kaya Mitsubishi Japan is taking no chances. That's why it's origjnal name is Pajero Sport. All Pajeros are made in Japan, Pajero IO, Pajero Mini, Pajero Sport, Pajero Bk.

Pag Montero yun ang pang-out source nila, lesser name.

So be very very smart sa decision, Mitsubishi Japan named this Pajero Sport for a reason, it's one of their pride

Actually, the only best thing that will happen with Everest is the 50k to 100k discount kagad sa 2016, coz Mitsubishi ensures enough supply basta nag-release yan

So yun if you're still bent on getting an Everest, wait. 100k still lot of money

This is the thing with buyers, they complain that we don't get enough features on the models that are being sold here. When the company decides to bring the full monty (pun intended), they complain about the price. It's the same with those who are clamoring for diesel engines for cars / sedans / cuvs but are not willing to pay the price premium.

Also, relative to Thailand-Malaysia-Indonesia, our car sales is relatively puny - economies of scale does apply.

Some are willing to shell out 2m. The fcm and surround view or was it multi view are features that some actually want especially for old folks.

Ford released the Everest/Focus Titanium+ without any features removed. I think thats a good move from the Ford company. Im guessing Ford sold a lot of Everest Titanium+ because of the said features.

That's a hit & miss proposition, I've seen prices for multi-view kits start from $250 and you're never sure what you bought, not to mention you'd be kissing your warranty goodbye.
