go for synthetic oil. yong last na nabasa ko dito P5,500 fully synthetic. change oil & oil filter tapos top up daw after 5k kms.

Re change oil on first 1000 kms..

It seems it varies among dealerships.. Got my unit at Carworld Pampanga, they advised me that there is no need to change oil on the first 1000 kms, only 15 point check; then just top up on the 5000 km.. Regular change oil starts at 10k then every 5k maintenance check..

One of the reasons I got my unit from them, the other dealer in our area insists on a change oil on the first 1K with an estimate cost of Php 5K..

Yung na-interview ko na car tech ng Jabez motors, ok lang daw sa 5k na lng magpachange oil and filter. Ewan ko na lang kung papayag yung mga tao sa service. Nasa 800km pa lang ako...

but in the manual booklet its written there what to do in first 1k km .change oil and change filter is no.1 on the list

hi guys im montero gls 2016 owner, i wonder if anyone of you here tried disconnecting the DRL? as you noticed for gls owners our DRL is our foglights. i think it will just shorten the span of our foglights and also gives additional load to our battery. any suggestions po?

Imo no need to disconnect it thus it defeats the purpose of having a drl. Also drl & fog has dedicated bulbs.

So the bulb at the fog lamps is different from the the fog talaga? If thats the case then okay lang pala.

i see mukhng tama nga ang napansin ko, during night time i ve tested na hndi gnun kaliwanag ung DRL(foglights) as compare pag switched on foglights talga mas brighter. pero still cant appreciate na yung DRL for GLS is ung foglights even with dedicated bulbs hehe.. though pde rin nmn ung sa DRL sa headlight yung sa gilid prob lang is mag ON din yung rear lights.

mga monty 2016 owners wala ba kyo nafifeel na alog sa steering wheel nyo pg dumaan kyo sa mga rough road? at vibration sa expressway pag umabot ng mga 100 kph.may nabasa na ako kasi dito with the same issue.mine is only 1000 km

Just remove the DRL fuse under the Hood.

Same tayo balak. If you search olx, you can find 200k discount for the gls and 100k for gls premium. If you want additional 5k+5k, register ka online sa pims.mmpc.ph

As for the price difference between gls and gls premium kung worth it, I also need inputs. Go to page 211. Listed yung mga features na nasa premium na wala sa gls
