Maybe there will be a more basic Montero Sport released after a year or a few months after the initial release.
Sobrang excited Kasi cya makita all new montero... Sa sobrang pagmamadali nya.. Imbes preno, gasolina padin tinapakan nya...
According to a sales agent, the new Montero will arrive either January or February next year.
Bro dito na yun official specs of all variants, super bare lahat ng models except the GT Premium 4x4.
I want the 4x2 GT from thailand but its not offered yet and the pricing is highly inflated.

Has anyone seen the specs for the lower variants? The MMPC Montero Sport microsite only shows-I assume-the 4x4 premium model.
Kung ano ginanda ng harap, yun ang pinangit ng likod. Awkward tail lights with the weird drooping extension, non-existent rear bumper, probably needs a spoiler also. Pag masagi, nakow deretso pinto ang tama nito, pag medyo minamalas pati ilaw damay.
I dont get the protruding fenders. Parang tear drops ang style ng tail light. 😭
But then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
2 mil suv pero yong tambutso parang inipit lang nila ng alambre. pero harap ok
Here's the advanced information brochure:
According to a sales agent, additional features of the base variant are the following:
1. Front Collision Mitigation
2. Dual Zone Auto climate aircon
3. 6.75 inch Touchscreen monitor, this is better than Thai model i think based on the brochure.
4. Keyless Engine Start/Stop button
5. Daylight Running Light
6. LED taillamps.
All the features shown in pictures in the brochure are for GT variant. It has moonroof also. I wonder what's the difference between the GT and GLS PREMIUM.

Asan ang surround view? 2M and they removed surround view? Sa thailand super affordable ng GT Premium. MMPC sucks.
That's because MMPC has forged a partnership with Winterpine since the early 2000s. The first thing that Winterpine supplied MMPC are the Code Alarm of the Pajero Fieldmaster and the previous generation Lancer and also Galant. It then expanded to supplying Pioneer 1-DIN CD HUs to Mitsubishi cars back in the early 2000s. Then Winterpine supplied the alarm system and JVC HU of the Strada and Montero Sport in 2006-2010. Then in 2011, Winterpine supplied AVT HUs and alarm systems to the Strada and Montero Sport up to this day.
For me, it's time for Mitsubishi to end their partnership with Winterpine and just use the original HUs and alarm systems found in Thailand and other markets. That partnership is kind of making their good vehicles look cheap, and taking out some of the nice features found in other markets.
