Naka focus ang mata ko sa body kit, that fixes the weird overhang of the new monty. Yung mga nasa market for SUV should really wait for the new Fort and Monty before dipping.

Can't wait to test drive this and compare with the Everest and the upcoming Fortuner. For me, a test drive is necessary for my decision. I changed my mind on the Everest after seeing the actual photos of the Philippine market Monty. But for me, the wood grain accent on the GT variant is kinda off. Better pa rin yung silver or piano black accents. For me, it's really a battle between the Monty and the Eve for now. And in real world situations, mukhang MS ang mananalo sa 0-100 kph

You are right with the 0-100, 4x2 might be best of segment.

For interior i like the monteros.

Exterior Pearl TRD fort looks legendary.

It looks awesome...up until the 3/4 quarter panel. Then you see the rear and everything just goes down the drain. I really can't get myself to like those teardrop taillamps. Makes the car look narrower than it really is too.

The Everest has a weird-looking rear also, but not this bad. This, to me, is like getting enamored with a voluptuous hottie, only to find out he's a ladyboy.

Looks-wise, the Fortuner isn't as much a head-turner, but looks great from all angles. I'd rather be 9/10 all around than be 10/10 for 75% and 1/10 for the 25%.

I agree, ang pangit ng front ng new fort and the quarter panel is wayyyy off. I'd take the fugly back anytime of the day.
