Finished some DIY encoding of ETACS using MVCI OBD2 USB cable and Windows laptop.

Things done:

1. Enabled Rear Fog Lamp. (ASX in Philippines do not have rear fog lamp by default.)

2. Enabled Auto Door Lock by Vehicle Speed. (Once the car hits 20 km/h, all doors will auto lock.)

3. Enabled Auto Door Unlock by shift to P position. (Once you park the car, all doors will auto unlock.)

There are other ETACS functions that can be enabled or disabled according to your personal preference.

Any other ASX owner here? Specifically the last models (2015-2017) introduced here.

Is it me or the CVT tranny is tuned to be a bit soft? Medyo late yung power delivery.

Frequent ko nagagamit sir 45k kms 23 months palang sya.. pero lagi naman highway driving pero normal drive mode lang wala masyadong hataw mode jan

More buyers must be hearing about the advantages of owning an ASX. I visited 2 Mitsu showrooms in QC today and neither had an available display unit.

The sales rep was probably bragging, but he said that as soon as they put one on display, it is gone within a week
