The 4x2 is supposed to be lighter and since it shares the same engine and tranny, should have the higher top speed. Marketing gimmick maybe? Won't do to have TOTL buyers thinking that the car they're buying is slower than the cheaper midrange model. :D I do know for a fact that the previous Strada GLX-V is slower than the GLS Sport V in terms of top speed due to the extra gear for the TOTL variant. This was proven when a GLX-V challenged me when I brought our GLS Sport V to Bicol last December. :D Very, very close call but I was able to overtake when we were both going around 160, I think. Both at top gear, both at full throttle.
