so what's new with the strada?

To name a few(4n15), timing chain instead of belt, aluminum block, bigger 2nd row space, better handling in corners/curves (maybe because of shorter leaf springs).

for at and mt, its very similar to new hilux and new dmax. di nagkakalayo as per specs..

mostly looks. they've gone from 2nd to hilux to an afterthought.

I guess it is because of its chinese like looks, especially the grills, and the small dimensions it has over the competition. IMHO, the older model looks far better but that's just me.

I owned a previous gen 4d56vgt almost same lang naman consumption ko meron man maliit lang, baka sa driving habit ko dahil mas mababa konsumo pag si misis mag drive.

Hahaha in your world mayba nobody is buying. Where I'm from kahit saan ka tumingin you'll see a strada.

looks is subjective. You might find it gwapo to some its a so-so lang. Pero I get it your ford ranger is masculine looking rig. Yna din sana bibilhin ko after I sold my previous gen strada. Pero nung kukuha na ako yung freind ni misis na 2wk old pa lang ang wildtrak eh tumirik na kaya biglang kambyo ko uli balik sa strada. some say its lame looking but Pero yung previous gen ko na strada na benta ko na lang yun after 5yrs di pa ako binigyan ng sakit ng ulo kahit yung current gen ko almost 2yrs so far wala din problema. I live in the province, every week nasa bukid ang rig ko pag tag ulan hangang tuhod ang putik di pa kasama dun mag karg ko palay , niyog pati live stock.
For some bumubili ng pick up para porma lang ni hindi nga ma putikan ako gamit ko pick up ko as a utility vehicle not as pang porma lang.
But I'll still buy the ranger raptor kung may extra na akong cash and provided na gumanda aftersales ng ford at hindi ako itirik sa daan dahil walang towing service available sa bundok kung saan ako nakatira.

apologies. kala ko kasi ranger owner kayo minsan kasi most pero di naman lahat na ranger owners think the world is revolving around their truck na yung iba dahil pinili nila ibang brand as if mababa na tingin nila lalo na yung isa dyan hahaha. Again di ko nilalahat.
My point still remains, looks is subjective. And for some function and practicality is priority over looks.
Hilux is matibay at may angas din ang looks and mataas pa ang resale value but strada uli kinuha ko since we have a family member that works at mitsu casa, so for every major/minor pms nakaka save ako almost 50% sa babayaran plus I dont have to wait inline pag nag pa service ako

akala ko 4N51 less engine noise compare to 4D56. Pero as you said parehas lang i thought a big improvement on 4N51

Yes, I can personally attest to that. I own both a 2nd gen 4D56 and 3rd gen 4N15 Montero, parked side by side with engine running with raised hood/bonnet,
4N15 engine is quieter approximately 30% (rough estimate).

The GR-HEV concept still has a better looking shape than the Triton. Sana ganun na lang din ginawa sa current model eh.

Possibly, pero my advice is to wait for the facelifted model na lang. That face still comes from the monty after all. 😂
