True that. Unfortunately there wasn't much that was new in this generation, unlike the extremely successful previous gen which offered a lot of features that were new to the segment. The current gen became sort of a carryover, and a rather ugly one at that. Though I did kind of get used to it after awhile...

This article explains alot why the triton is popular in Australia. Its a strong 3rd in Au. Mitsubishi Au is selling this alot lower than the competition. MMPC is selling these as though its got tons of features.

4x2 2.4 GLS 5AT only has ebd and reversing camera and cruise control. 1.22M

The similarly underspecd Navara EL 7AT is only 1.139M.
