differential clunk/backlash as they say.. some readings: is the clunk drivetrain backlash?

i guess, sa lahat ng M/T na nada drive ko if hindi suwabe ang timpla ng clutch-and-throttle, dito na aagrevate ang differential backlash..
even my CRV Gen1, which is FF drive, but with the RT4WD rear differential, the same backlash still happens pag out of synch ang gear shifting vs throttle usually during 2nd and 3rd gear shifting.

just try to experiment the right mix.. from my end, i learned mas napapadalas ang clunking pag premature release ng clutch tapos late ang throttle.

Nabasa ko sa dyaryo kahapon, yung 2014 gtv may MASTC na daw.
No idea pa regarding sa LSD kung tinaggal or not.

Yep. tapos yung iba naka carbon fiber accent na yung trims, same as the pic posted abovemost this page.
Chineck ko mitsu phils website pero walang mastc nakalagay sa brochure ng GTV e.
Sana totoo yung nakasaad sa dyaryo haha.

Either Inquirer or Star yun, tapos yung date di ko maalala. Basta 90% sure ako dyaryo siya this week.

Sir zix, napanood ko na din yan.. kakainggit nga.. lalo na yung all new mitsu outlander.

Ilang beses na ako nag slip paakyat baguio. D naman yata effective yung hybrid LSD nya..

^ may slip talaga sir bago mag activate yung LSD.
Pero not the same as an open differential.

The traction control systems use the ABS hardware to brake a wheel that would otherwise spin, allowing the opposing wheel to deliver power.

The LSD does the same thing but mechanically via clutches in the differential. See Limited-slip differential - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ABS system could result in excessive brake wear, whereas the LSD could develop problems with the clutches. Both seem to do the same basic job.

Based on this, bakit ako nakakaexperience mg loss of traction.. sumasayaw ung likod ko during acceleration, when overtaking and when cornering on wet roads..?

4x4 ba unit mo ? Available ba sa lahat ng variant yung Hybrid-LSD.?
Minsan nasa tire pressure ang problema.

Cornering on wet roads, dudulas talaga rear wheels mo sir lalo na kung mabilis ka talaga or nag WOT ka.
Pero on straight road and WOT, hindi naman nadulas rear wheels nang amin (open diff).
Di kaya body roll yung nararamdaman mo sir? The montero has a lot of body roll (specailly in cornering) thats why they put front and rear stabilizer bars to lessen it.

Leaf spring, pa check mo kung align rear wheel differential o baka may maluwag na U-Bolt o putol na center bolt.
