sa gls 4m41 4x4 , many times si mrs nagsasabi sakin na parang nagaground siya everytime papasok ng oto. pero dito sa gtv wala naman. hindi rin namin pinansin kasi siya lang nakakaexperience

sa amin 4x2 na GLX pero minsan na ga-ground ako... try ko pa check next time kung ano yung cause. :D

static electricity (not sure kung tama term). usual cause nyan mga carpet tsaka rubbing sa mga leather. malimit yan kapag dry climate.

San ba sir makikita ang VIN ng MS natin? 2013 syo sir di ba? Mostly, di rin kasama yung 2013 GLSV ko kasi wala naman nabanggit. Just to make sure lang talaga na di ako kasali. TIA

hi bro, yes 2013 di kasama pero worried kasi ako dahil September 2012 and nakita kong plant exit ng unit ko noon based sa mga barcode sa plastic covers.. kaya ayun.. pero for peace of mind, look for the engine bay yung series na MMBG<X><XX9><9XX999999>

No DPF sir. The only emissions equipment is the EGR on all 2.5 montys. EGR and catalytic converter on the 3.2.

Really appreciate the prompt replies ek2jayvee across the different threads. So we would really expect smoke emission problems esp during hard acceleration as per design of the 2.5 engine of the montero... power over cleaner emissions? ??

No problem sir. Yes the presence of an EGR without the CC or DPF is the primary cause of the black smoke noted. But probably a well maintained stock engine can pass emissions testing naman because the standards are low. I don't actually know why our 2.5 engines are designed this way.. Maybe cost over cleaner emissions din.

Entered my vin and it says not included in the list. 2013 glx bought march with bv4xxx conduction sticker.

mine is not included but kailangan ko ng magpa-PMS. Baka pasabay ko na rin. Mukhang mas matatagalan ako sa casa nito since maraming kasabay. Wrong timing.

I've also checked mine at the MMPC website. Not included in the list. 2012 MS GLX M/T. Pero balak ko din patignan sa PMS. Nakakatakot din na may ganung issue kahit sabihing di kasama yung sa amin.
