I am planning to get an Innova e D4d this 2014 but when I saw the base model of Montero price kaya ko din kaso baka 2015 ko sya ma buy with full cash. Ang Nagustuhan ko lang sa Montero over Innova is yung porma, resale value at ground clearance BTW yung 3rd row seat ba nya foldable sa floor? Can you tell me also mga katsikot kung magastos ba Non-VGT in terms of maintenance and parts availability I will planning this to use it up to 8 yrs TY god bless

I was also about to get an Innova when I found out about the non-VGT Montero. I compared the two and since talagang di ko masyadong type ang itsura ng Innova, I went for the Monty kahit na I needed the extra passenger space of the Innova. Matagal din kasi ako magpalit ng car ang I don't want to be stuck with a car na di ko ganun ka-gusto. Last month ko lang nabili so I can't comment about the maintenance pero for sure mas mahal sya compared sa Innova. I'm very satisfied naman so far.

Sir zix sa akin on 3.2, dun sa may exhast manifold ko nilagay yung plate, before sa cooler.. pero di ko na linagyan sa may egr valve. Kelangan din ba yun sir para malagyan ko din?

well if working naman na, pwede na yan. but i did 2-pt blanking, 1&3. though my initial plan was 3-pt blanking, 1,2&3.

Regarding drl sa fog lights sir, pag naka on na yung ignition, naka on na ung DRL? D magastos sa baterya sir?, kahit lower voltage ang supply nya?

well madami paraan to activate it, nasayo na yan. pwede na when you shift to D, thats the time it will be activated

for pt. 3, i used 3 mm aluminum plate.






for pt.1, i used stainless steel thin plate(same thickness as the gasket)



these 2 gaskets are needed to be traced if you want to blank your egr.

actually, wala naman ako doubt on positive results nito, kaya lang medyo na-delay yung pag DIY eh dahil may mga gumawa na nag-CEL. nagkataon lang pala yon. basta working yung egr valve, walang problema.

It is not 100% sure sir. Sir arvin cristi of TSCP installed egr blanking to stradas and montys and got different results. Some got CEL and some did not. So if you really like to go on with this mod, proceed at your own risk.

yes. lalo na kung bago pa yung monty, kasi sigurado okay pa egr valve nun eh. yung nag-cel, talagang pabreak down na yung egr valve, sumakto na nung ng blank, tsaka nasira. so yung cel niya hindi dahil sa blanking.

Di ko rin natanong. Haha. BUT, meron din ata siya gadget na pangreset dun so no need to go to casa.

i will make a good guess, medyo mataas na mileage nung nagblank siya. anyway, same here, no need to go to casa if ever my diys go the other way. thanks
