How do you tell kung original yung gps sd card? Nakabili ako and accdg to the seller galing sa casa yung card. Sandisk card lang ba talaga or may label ng inav or Mitsubishi?

You know, as long as it's authentic and your reader/GPS can read it, then any brand of SD card works. Kahit SanDisk pa yan, Kingston, or a re-branded Mitsubishi SD card.

However, KNOWING if it's authentic from a fake is much harder. Transfer speeds is one.. but physically telling them apart? Konting malabo yun.

So does it mean the sd card na galing sa casa SanDisk lang talaga ang label?

simple lang naman para malaman kung orig yung sd card ng navi na nabili mo sir. as long as once nag function yung navi mo hindi distorted ang map orig yan. pag fake or duplicated distorted yung map nalalabas sa navi mo.

Ugh... Looks like I got a copied one. The navi worked pero distorted nga ang map. Hindi kaya ito compatibility issue between the HU of the GLX and the GLS-V? Tiningnan ko kasi update ng iNav and there is a separate download for 2012 or below and 2013 na AVT. Ang the mid display ng GLX ko looks like it's 2012 since 8 buttons lang.

The guy looked legit naman since he was driving a brand new Monty also and he swears he got this from Mitsubishi for his other unit na sa province daw gagamitin kaya binenta ang SD. The guy is also responding to my texts.

Sirs, it is the combination of the oily blow-by vapour from the crankcase plus the exhaust soot from the EGR that forms an asphalt like layer on the intake manifold that over time leads to poor performance.

Wala naman worries with a stock engine but you should be prepared to spend money and time for cleaning of the parts of the engine involved to maintain itin tiptop shape. It is part of PMS and will be offered by your SA at certain mileages.

You can also opt to subtract one from the equation, like if you fit an Oil Catch Can, it will filter out a significant amount oil from the air intake charge. Then the soot recirculated is much drier and sticks less to the walls of the intake manifold. This will probably double the time it will take the manifold to clog. This should not cause any warranty issues kasi as it says, it just catches oil. Pero sometimes the casa technicians don't know what it is for and may think it is a performance mod, hence potentially voiding your warranty.

Another part of the equation is the soot from the EGR system which can be blocked or restricted by inserting a plate in the pipeline. This is technically not legal because the EGR system was designed because of emissions requirements. But all over the world it is being done because of the carbon deposit problems and it compromises engine longetivity. Blanking the EGR will lead to a lot cleaner engine and less maintenance. There are a lot of styles to do this, but essentially you just need to stop the flow. This can be done discreetly without the casa ever knowing. Kaya pwede kahit under warranty. The earlier the better actually.

For more info, google niyo sirs. The wikipedia result is actually a good read already.

    Adding info about EGR

In diesel engines[edit source | editbeta]

By feeding the lower oxygen exhaust gas into the intake, diesel EGR systems lower combustion temperature, reducing emissions of NOx. This makes combustion less efficient, compromising economy and power. The normally "dry" intake system of a diesel engine is now subject to fouling from soot, unburned fuel and oil in the EGR bleed, which has little effect on airflow, however, when combined with oil vapour from a PCV system, can cause buildup of sticky tar in the intake manifold and valves. It can also cause problems with components such as swirl flaps, where fitted. Diesel EGR also increases soot production, though this was masked in the US by the simultaneous introduction of diesel particulate filters.[6] EGR systems can also add abrasive contaminants and increase engine oil acidity, which in turn can reduce engine longevity.[7]

Though engine manufacturers have refused to release details of the effect of EGR on fuel economy, the EPA regulations of 2002 that led to the introduction of cooled EGR were associated with a 3% drop in engine efficiency, bucking a trend of a .5% a year increase

    2. San po okay magpa-paint nung plastic rear bumper para maging kamukha niya yung nasa harapan (from black to i think, silver)

    TIA.

The code for the "Quartz Brown Metallic" is C06...remember there are different types of "metallic", you need the very "fine" or smallest granules. I had mine already re-touched due to scratches...

I decided to do this nung i tried to clean my intake manifold myself.
