Good Day Montero Sport owners!! Before anything, I just want to say Thank you to all those who have contributed to this forum. My wife and I are planning to buy our own montero (GLX MT) soon , as soon as mabenta yung car naman hehehe, and reading this thread has helped me learn more about the vehicle that we want to buy. Now, may mga questions lang po ako and your help/suggestions will be gladly appreciated

- Coming from a Sedan M/T, mejo malaki ba difference ng clutch ng M/T na Diesel? Hindi kasi pwede mag test drive eh... so I was wondering if may mga sedan->SUV manual owners rito who can share their exeprience. When I visited MITSU Makati this sat, napansin ko lang mejo malalim yung clutch ng ng Montero sport.

- Saang okay na dealership bumili? Aside from the price and discount that they offer, I'm also after the sales service... mejo marami na kasi akong nabasa na horror stories regarding CASA maintenance checkups.

hi sir JT - welcome to the forum.. GLX MT owner here.. aside from the comfort mindset from sedan - ladder-frame SUV, im sure you wont regret it. regarding sa clutch, yes mas malalim talaga ang setting compared sa mga sedans, pero i think may room for adjustment pa ito. im planning to adjust nga yung sakin e. good luck and i wish you can have your Monty na asap.

Thanks for the advice sir Ash! =) That's good to hear. Natatakot lang kasi ako baka nakakapagod i-drive yung m/t variant ng Montero , given the terrible traffic situation sa metro manila.

Isn't the 4D56 suppose to use the BF7534 ? BF7535 has a different thread (3/4-16). BF7534 is (M20 x 1.5)

Does the 4D56 in the Montero have a different thread than those in the 4D56 of the L300 ?

Regarding the clutch, wag niyo na pa adjust sir. Mag iiba yung feel at baka pumangit yung pag spring back. Ginalaw kasi ng mechanic ng Shell yung akin. Natuto tulo ako mag adjust noon trying to get it back to the stock feel.

Compared sa gas sedan, mas madaling timplahin ang diesel. At kaya niya mag crawl sa traffic without steppingon the accelerator. Good luck sa purchase sir!

thanks ek2javee for the advise. i had that same reservation, but just waiting for confirmation from others. now cancelling my plan to adjust the clutch and stay stock settings

sir 3500 lang meron na sa sulit..carbon fiber na at mat silver sa gitna...naiingit nga din me minsan..

mapapagana kaya ung rear fog indicator sa dashboard? been thinking of using red films on my left side backup lights tapos bili ako ng oem switch para maging rear foglamp

implant ka ng led inside the combimeter, wala kasi nakalagay diyan kaya kahit anong connection ang gawin mo, hindi mag light up yan . just use the oem switch, connect the rear fog together with the front fog lamp, that would be the easiest way, closest to oem set up plus saving a lot on buying new switch plus the assemble/disassemble of everything

Mga boss tanong lang po. Dun sa mga naka-gtv, ano pong part no. ng fuel filters nyo po? Same pa rin ba ang 2012 sa 2013? Mine is 2012 1770A223. Plastic ung fuel filter ko.
