Question lang mga pre, mine is gls-v 2013, It is my habit especially in Slex to take a nap for a while pag sobra antok, When I turn off the engine,nag open lock ng door automaticaly. now, to be safe bago mag nap, lock ko ulit ang door, however, unlike my other cars, the Montero alarm is activated when you lock it when the engine is not running.The blinking blue light is annoying especially at night ,nakakawala ng antok. So, the question is ,how do you lock the door without activating the alarm when you are inside? TIA

Ask ko lang po regarding sa alarm system,yong monty glx ko bigla na lang nawala yong security alarm sound..every time mag lock and unlock ako sa remote no sounds pero nag blink yong light nya. Sana meron po nakakaalam sa inyo paano ibalik yong sounds? Thank you po...

you may use the drivers side door lock.

I am thinking of a simple replacement of front to separates & rear to 2way/3way coaxials. ride ko pala is a 2013 GLX AT.

same outstanding question here. kelangan bang si winterpine mismo gagawa neto due to warrany issues? or di naman big deal, and i can just do DIY.

I think the TPMS is only on the GTV by default, but it is an option for the GLS-V because they share the same headunit. Plus the GLS-V is only available in AT, if I remember it correctly. If 7 seater size and diesel are not primary requirements, then the Thai 4x2 CRV might fit your bill if you want AT and I think more amenities than a GLX. The Monty is really hard to deny though.

Sir tanong lang po ako, GLS-V po kasi yung amin yung emblem nya sa harap ay V lang. Regarding po sa TPMS, matagal ko na kasi hinahanap kung saan banda makikita sa lcd screen, e cliclick muh lang pala yung car info at may lalabas dun about TPMS.

Question ko po is sa aming monty GLS-V wala pong nakalagay na information about sa psi nung mga tires "-- -" ganyan lang po nakadisplay.

Any idea?

Sa aking pagkakaalam, ang GTV 4x4 lang ang may emblem na GTV. Pag GLS model naman eh "V" lang ang emblem sa front grill.

About the tire monitoring system, yung strada ko eh di rin nag reregister yung tire pressure nya sa rear left, but all the others were being shown. DInala ko sa Mitsu Casa, and they did something to reset it, then OK na sya. Pareho lang sa pakakaalam ko ang montero at strada tire monitoring system.

Bro, only GTV have TPMS... but you have an option to have it install sa casa that costs 17k

Guys, will these tint shade be ok to have a compromise between privacy and visibility?

super black fx5 = sides
med black Fx20 = rear
light black Fx35 = front windshield

It will be installed on a white montero as casa freebie.

I made the rear just med black for more visibility especially at night. Will this combination able someone to see the persons inside? For those who has all black and light black in front, how's the visibility at the rear during night time?

I have a 2011 white gtv.I also got my tint as a freebie. I have fx5 on the sides and rear, fx35 on the front windshield. Passengers cannot be seen from the outside. Windshield privacy is great despite being fx35 and of course visibility is great also. I highly recommend the fx35 on the windshield. As for the rear, its really dark at night and visibility is poor. However, if you go with fx20 on the rear, visibility will definitely improve on the rear but I think privacy on all sides will be compromised. Im happy with my current setup.

mine is fx20 on rear and side, and fx 35 on the front.. masyadong maliwanag sa umaga, they can see you inside..on night naman, maliwanag pa rin.. I suggest fx5 sa sides and rear, fx 20 sa windshield para me privacy.

you need to buy the transmitter, yung head unit natin ng gls-v ay ready to receive via blue tooth, you need 5 transmitter, one each for the installed tires and the other sa reserve. yung transmitter will replaced the original tire valve..medyo delikado lang pag nag vulcanize, baka masira ng tao sa vulcanizing shop

yup, talagang "on" stuffs like MIS , etc before you can lock the doors w/o engaging the alarm. mine works at acc, plus i can turn off the MIS since i diy an ON/OFF mis switch

Mga sirs , meron akong ingay na naririrnig sa dashboard , parang sa likod ng headunit, nakaka distract kasi pag nalulubak. Meron ba sa inyo na nakakaexperience ng ganito?Mine is 2013 glx. Thanks

Sir zix, we should have the same alarm since we both have the 2011 gtv. I tried this procedure but my alarm still activates.
One more thing, one time I lost my keys and when I got my spare key, it did not have battery power anymore. When I unlocked the car manually using the keyhole on the drivers side, the alarm was triggered. So, I had a key but cant start the car. Imagine if you are out of nowhere and the alarm battery is drained. You will have to leave your car and buy a fresh battery to use your car. Haaay. I hate this alarm system..... its irritating.

we do have the same alarm system sir. regarding the manual opening of the door, key in to "On" then press the red button underneath , to override the alarm.
