wow that was fast. ako almost 90 days already.. casa said that they are having a hard time getting my requested ending plate #3 -_-

Hindi ko lang alam kung may kinalaman sa ending number yung tagal niya, pero ako kasi nirequest ko is 5.

when you come to a full stop, it will go back to D. on the otherhand pagrekta, you hold + on paddle for couple of seconds, it will go back to D

Aside from that, you can also move the shifter to the manual mode then back to D. Though i dont know if that has adverse effects, I would think not since it does not say you cannot do that while moving. Basically its just a quick left then right flick of the stick, no need to actually use the + or -.

Its so confusing now with all the choices of vehicles in this price range... Pretty much set on the Monty but the XV premium just keeps eyeballing me, the new Wildtrak is out in April with so much tech to the teeth, CX-5 is overpriced but the 3 year free PMS is tempting, still iffy about the revised XS Forester and i havent seen one yet in the flesh, CRV is out since my sister just got one, Fortuner still on the fence with the ride quality since there is no test drive available, RAV4 4x2 does not really seem value for money in this price range and IMHO the front looks similar to a lancer. I wonder if the new Outlander will be similarly priced but with improved specs...

On another note, is it possible that outside odors entering the cabin might be coming from the back where the spare tire is hanging from?

Hope you guys don't mind me asking but what essentially are the differences between GLX and GLS-V? I'm considering the Montero but my budget is more for a GLX. Depending on the added features of the GLS-V, however, I might try to see if I can stretch... thanks in advance!

sir GLX MT 2013 happy owner here.. well, if you're really not particular into minor details, and accessories, features that you can live happily without - then the base model works for you too.

what i dont have in my GLX where GLS does:
Exterior: Rear hatch door cladding, side door impact beam,spare tire cover
Interior: Leatherette seat cover (factory), titanium accented dash
Accessories: GPS, TPMS,steering wheel audio control, tweeter
Powerplant: newer 4D56 with VGT

plus awaiting more features from reply of GLS owners.

so basically, if your budget is too tight but can live without above features, then GLX works for you.

Your GPS antenna is located/mounted on rightmost side of your dashboard. It is a black plastic square shaped thing . Stock roof antenna is mainly for radio mode only. And yes, naiikot lang yun to unscrew and re-screw. My monty (GLX-V limited) also have additional roof antenna for the TV. Kaya daming sungay monty ko.

The one I got fitted exactly. No modifications needed.

It was a generic replacement antenna (I forgot for what brand and vehicle) that I got from Concorde in Waltermart Makati
