Bros, planning to buy a(n) ms gls v SE at.

For those who bought a brand new MS, did you find a need to have the tyres corrected for camber and alignment? (There's a popular brand who is infamous about this, based on a couple of personal experiences with them).

I am planning to use Unioil diesel,- anyone who's using this too? Any issues?

How about the regular Shell diesel? (The service personnel was encouraging me to use the Shell Nitro diesel with a higher cetane rating to be on the safe side)

Do I need to have a spare tyre lock installed? (Like the Fort)

Any other things that I should be on the lookout for?

Unioil user here dahil sabi dito sa forum. No problem naman. Di ako nagshshell kasi wala less e. Either petron (dahil sa bpi) or unioil lang ako. Ok naman

No need for spare tire lock dahil may cover naman

Wala namang issue ang montero namin. I just change fuel filter every 10k pms. Sakit ata ng montero na bumabara agad fuel filter. Kaya maaga na lang ako nagpapalit. 350 lang naman isang filter

Kaya bang i-DIY ang replacement ng fuel filter (thanks for sharing the price),- or isabay na lang sa regular PMS..... I will keep this in mind.....

May idea ba kayo on how much mag pa duplicate ng susi kasama yung alarm remote remote sa casa? meron din kaya nag reprogram ng remote other than casa?

Boss CVT, mine is 2009 3.2 and no issue naman sa wheel camber and alignment mula stock till 20s...
Nung wala pang Euro 4 ang Unioil Seaoil ang gamit ko then Petron Turbodiesel and la ring naging problem sa SCV... EGR blanked na rin after 20K kms. Palit fuel filter naman every 15K kms.

Yun ang maganda sa Monty, no need na lagyan ng spare tire. Yun nakausap kong tire/mags dealer na kuwento nila na bihira nagbebenta sa kanila ng paisa isang mags/spare kadalasan set..... mahirap daw kasi nakawin.

Nawala yung screw cover ng rear wiper ko. Do you have any idea guys kung san ako makakabili nito?

Good pm mga ka-monty. Ask ko lang kung may naka encounter na sa inyo ng touch screen problem. Di sya respond pag pinipindot,so di mailipat FM station, etc. may epekto kaya 3rd party rear cam? Within warranty pa sya, pwede kaya ipa check sa casa? Thanks sa advise

Magandang araw mga tol! May tatanong lang sana ako, yung kaibigan ko kasi nakakuha ng monterro 2013 gls v. ang tinatakbo is 10-15 KM sa odometer. Kaso may lumalabas sa radio niya, preventive maintenance 55KM. Ano yun dinaya siya ng pinagbentahan niya? Posible ba dinaya yung odometer niya? Wala daw kasama na maintenance records. Ang pinagtataka lang namin, sariwang sariwa yung kotse. Malinis na malinis, yung egr blanking mahigpit, yung loob sariwa. Ano pa ba way para macheck? salamat po!

Guys napansin ko lang may slight vibration sa steering wheel pag apak ko sa preno at around 60km/h, 26k pa lang tinatakbo ng monty ko, normal lang ba yun?

Mga boss tanong lng po.

Nagpakabit po ako ng 2 inch SR aluminum rear lift. After po makabit, from stop to mga 10 kph parang may vibration sa rear axle or gulong. Cause po ba ito nung pag lift? Na miss align po ba yung drivetrain ng monty ko po? Pde po ba i align ang driveline ng montero?

I just renewed my 2013 monty registration, 4.3k plus lahat inabot, kasama na smoke belching test and tpl.

I expect na singilin din ako for change plate, pero wala sa OR.
Di na ba tuloy yung pag palit ng plate?

Good day po! Newbie monty owner here po. Would like to get your expert opinions po. I am looking to upgrade my wheelset and here are the considerations.

- can accomodate brakeset upgrade
- can be used for daily drive and long drives as well ( SLEX po ako daily and go on long road trips once or 3x a year )
- should improve handling and should not compromise ride too much
- syempre... should improve the curb appeal of my monty ( pogi points )

what rims and tires specs would you recommend. kung may pics po kayo, better po.

so far okay naman. idle is normal and engine is responsive. typical for a newly oil changed vehicle. ask me again after 5,000 km and at 10,000km and hopefully it performs and behaves the same way. Its my first time using this one so I'm quite interested to know how it will perform.
