well i dont really worry about warranty issues, as long as i am doing all my mods right, wires laid out properly and really neat ( like oems ).

had optiguard done to my monty by bigberts ortigas. im very satisfied. hopefully it helps protect the paint since unshaded ang parking ni monty.

I have good experienced using unioil euro 4 diesel, mas quiet and smoother ang ride halos parang car with road noise lang...next for me seaoil and caltex.

Had our montero re upholstered with leather seats. 2 tone, light gray perforated centers area and dark gray sides. 14 yards of material. 6 yards perforated leather + 8 yards non perforated leather. 355/ yard ng leather sa shell canvas+ 2500 labor sa kapitbahay na upholsterer. Actually di naman sya cover lang kasi fix sya sa seat parang stock upholstery naka alambre sya sa seat kaya fit na fit walang galaw. Tangal lahat ng seats para ikabit.

i just got my montero glx at last dec. overall very satisfied good ride nice fc quiet diesel engine. just wondering where i can get affordable nudge gear cant afford the shark and carryboy ones. i saw the on sulit ones for santa fe at only 10k front and back nothing like that for montero? also i got a glx so no spare tire cover. they say non oem ones are of bad quality. would you know where to find good non oem one

With a diesel engine, you always go back to the basics, Compression and Fuel. The are many factors for a diesel engine that can cause power loss.
1) Clogged air filter
2) Clogged fuel filter
3) Clogged/dirty EGR
4) Low oil level
5) Blown turbo

Have your monty checked at your nearest dealer if its still within warranty period.

Just got my monty installed with Video Headrest + TV Tuner at Winterpine. They did a great job. My son loved it he can now watch his favorite DVDs at the back seat. One campy camper here :-)

We're talking about here diesel engine power loss. Even something as simple as oil level can reduce power.. if it's too low, it will reduce compression, therefore reducing efficiency of the engine and it's power output. For 4d56 engines, the total oil required should be not more or less 6.4 liters.
