last time i asked SA about sa 2014 release date they told me mid of august daw. yan lang talaga sir nakaka badtrip sa mga SA. once makita nila na interesado ka ipipilit parin nila kung saan sila ay lalamang. even nung kinuha ko yung gtv ko last april sinabi ko sa SA na idemonstrate yung mga pasikot sikot ng monty. alam niyo ano lang pinakita sakin? pag on ng head unit, pag on ng ilaw, as in mga basics lang. pero kung papano ibaba yung spare tire hindi nila alam. dahilan nila bago kasing labas yan sir eh, wala pa kaming procedures ng bagong unit sabay ngitti na pilit. nasan ang customer care mga SA?

Hi guys! Newbie here. I'm getting the 2014 glx model. Color na lang ang pinagiisipan ko. Muntik ko na makuha yung 2013 pero sinabihan ko yung SA na 2014 na lang aantayin ko. Pinipilit pa na matagal pa daw yon at kunin ko na lang yung 2013. I told her ok lang. Nung nalaman kung meron na ang sabi naman eh matagal pa daw bago mailabas. Wala pa daw dito sa pinas. Tsk tsk. Buti matiyaga ako.

They are offering big discounts dun sa 2013 model. Galing ako sa casa kanina at based sa naririnig ko, mukhang pang 'pre-order' pa lang yung 2014 model. Papipilahin until maubos yung 2013. Hehe.

Sir sakin pano itiklop yung side mirror. At talaga daw na hindi sila sabay tumiklop. Haha!

Chief, would like to ask if any of the improvements made by bossing zix on your car will affect the warranty? I seem to recall in one discussion that the OCC can be removed manually BEFORE you go the casa for the PMS. How about the others?

Sir sagot na din ako dito. Sabi nila, as long as hindi yun ang cause ng sira na iclaim mo for warranty, no problem. Pero to be safe, tanggalin na lang kung pwede before going to casa. Kabit na lang ulit after.

Yes to all ang sagot sa lahat nyan but what you should be thinking about is firstly warranty issues. minsan may mga dealers na draconian in their interpretation of warranty liabilities na baka nila i-void warranty mo at the frist sight of non-OEM parts. secondly how much money are you willing to spend syempre.

Yung 1 to 5 na lang muna siguro ipadadagdag ko after I reach my first PMS. Alam mo ba bro kung ano yung SB & Chip Combo? Don't know why I put it on the list

Ask lang po ulit. Can the following improvements be done even before the first PMS or after a specific distance has already been covered?
1. Oil Filter - no warranty issue, but ask first your SA/CASA if they allow you to bring and use other oil filter
2. OCC - no warranty issue, you can remove it before going to CASA
3. A/C filter - no warranty issue
4. K&N filter - no warranty issue
5. Otitron - probably no warranty issue as long as no additional load sa electrical
6. Hi-beam DRL module - probably no warranty issue as long as no additional load sa electrical
7. SB & chip combo - for the SB no, for the chip yes, pero kapag plug n play naman pwede mo tanggalin before going to CASA.

friendly advice, if you are not sure with any of the mods, magbasa-basa ka muna to learn about them. to know how they function and affect your car, the benefits, pros and cons etc...

same feeling bro....1 month palang monty ko....kung alam ko lang i could have wait.....though mas gusto ko parin grille ng monty ko kesa sa bago ngayon....

as long as cosmetics lang ang nabago, hindi dapat manghinayang. pero kung tweaked engine, 6 speed tranny plus stability and traction control, yan talagang bagsak balikat tayo, hehe. as long as same body and specs, ayos lang

same here, one month old monty. tinawagan ko SA sabi nya was di na nya ako pinag-antay kasi feeling nila ng peers nya eh parang pajero half-breed daw un bagong monty and talagang cosmetics lang ang difference.
