just got my 2013 gls-v 4x2 last friday and so far happy naman ako. smooth ang suspension compare sa 2010 fortuner i had. i do feel some lag but im not sure if its because its been awhile since i drove an a/t or if its the vgt.
as far as issues are concern, unfortunately with just a few days of ownership i already experienced some of the common issues other owner mentioned.

- sw mid control sometimes become unresponsed and had to turn the vehicle off to reset.
- no display showing when videos are played on idevice.

hopefully i can have them address and fixed on my first pms.

btw guys did your monty came with a 1/2 pint of original paint? i remember kasi when i got my fortuner back then they included a pint of paint for touch up. i asked my SA sabi wala daw kasama...

my glx m/t non-vgt is still at its first 500+ km. so, avg city = 10km/l; last saturday, umikot kami tagaytay, from bacoor->daang hari->SLEX->sta. rosa->nuvali->tagaytay->aguinaldo hiway->bacoor = ~12 km/l .. (manual computation) not bad.. avg speed 80-85km/h.. maintaining cruising rpm at 1,800 , not staying too long past 2,000 rpm. (fuel = shell nitro diesel , as recommended by casa)

Sir, I got a personalized plate. Sinabi kasi nung sales agent sa akin na mas madaling makakakuha ng plate kung personalized, around 1-3 months. So ayun na nga ang kinuha ko. Sure enough nakuha ko naman within 3 months (it arrived this 1st week of January). The plate cost me Php 35k. 3 letters and 2 nos.

long time no post.

Anyway an update with my 2013 GLS-V 4x2 AT unit.

- Bought it last December 20, 2012 and now running only at around 250km
- Already did Big Bert's PPP (7500). Sobrang happy with the results!
- Leather Seat Cover by sir Otep with delivery and home service (8500). Very nice leather used. Hindi shiny and high quality ang materials and the way na pag ka stitch, talagang tatagal. All black kinuha ko. Also no issues when folding the 3rd row. And the bestn part is, talagang nakayakap sa seats. Walang loose part.
- Alarm changed from "valet" mode to "standard/alarm" mode. No more irritating blue led steady when driving
- GPS is kinda accurate. Sometimes you are nearer to the street that you need to turn comparing sa GPS. Also minsan pag nawalan ng signal, you need to reboot the system. Otherwise, okay siya even on multi-tasking. Nakakairita lang minsan sa GPS is yung makulit na nagsasalita. hehe!
- Medyo heavy talaga ang steering. Comparing it with our Forts, Innova and Fit, mas mabigat talaga and you need to assist the steering wheel going back coming from a turn. Nakakalaki ng muscle to! hehe! Possible din maybe because of the Tire Pressure. Used the recommended 29/32 PSI. I'll try higher PSI next time baka gumaang.
- Ride/Comfort wise is superb. Way better the the 1st gen Fort. mga lubak and potholes walang problem. Tunog ng suspension is solid.
- Sanayan lang sa tunog ng signal light
- Still kinda disappointed with the "no sliding" 2nd row seats

Overall, very happy and satisfied with the unit. Hopefully by next month it will be up for the first 1k. No plates yet but coordinated with my SA and most probably next month narin dating ng plates.

Again kudos to Mr. Kentgil for a superb aftersales. Kilala parin niya ako. haha!

Will update again and post pictures soon once na makuha ko SLR ko from my brother.

just wondering. did you guys see the brochure in mmpc.ph. bago na sya for 2013.

nakasulat standard for V variants (where they indicated GTV and GLS-V), na may auto-rain sensing wipers and auto lighting controls. specs that are GTV-specific are specified pero itong feature na ito hindi (and listed as standard for V variants). it's an error I assume or meron talaga sa GLS-V?

3 na tropa naka 2013 glsv walang auto rain and light. so bale ang meron pa lang nun eh yung mga ukraine ed. na lumabas noon plus yung alaga kong 2011 gtv hehe

thanks for the clarification bro. bagong labas kasi yang brochure. of course if those who purchased prior to the release of the marketing material will feel nadaya without those features indicated as "standard" to V variants hehe

Hi guys. Mag siyasiyam na buwan na na wala pa ring plates ang aming 2012 monty gls v 4x2. Nakuha namin yan noong May 2012 pa pero di ko alam kung ano na ang nangyare. Sa mga new owners, musta po ang mga wipers nyo dyan? Kung di maganda ang wipers at balak nyo magpalit, subukan nyo ang Bosch Aero Twin. Suggestion lang. Thanks.

any update on the MID issues? nakakainis kanina super buggy yung MID, no data lahat yung sa part nang temp. tapos hindi gumagana sw controls. i had to turn off the monty and turn in back on to make it work, dapat my sariling reset switch nalang yung MID para sa ganon.. hopefully firmware bug lang.
